French fare with a wood-burning grill. Handsome, brick-clad brasserie with Edison bulbs featuring French-inspired fare plus a leafy patio.
If you’re looking to book a private event, look no further than Maverick Texas Brasserie! The events team was wonderful to work with. Elizabeth communicated so fast and efficiently. She and her team were able to take care of our last minute party of 60 in the Le Palm space with ease. The food, drinks and service were phenomenal. Our guests really enjoyed themselves and were raving about the evening all week. I wish I got more photos of the food and ambiance. The outdoor patio with private bar are so beautifully laid out and gives tons of privacy for your guests to enjoy themselves. PS: order the homemade gnocchi!!
Perfect Easter brunch. The inside is immaculate. I really appreciate them accommodating my request with short notice. Ed was a wonderful server, and talked about his love for San Antonio. The food was delicious and we were shocked at how affordable the food was. We left with very full stomachs and takeout. Thank you so much.
We had brunch today. My wife had Eggs Benedict and I had Steak and eggs. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the building as a whole was very nice. Definitely a nice brunch while we were in town.
An absolute must visit if you're in San Antonio. The food was delicious on every level from the salad to the main course to dessert. Service was friendly and superb. Portions were ideal for me, not too big and not too small. Wine selection was far more extensive than I anticipated.... always a good problem to have. I'm definitely coming back.
One star for awesome 80’s music, second star for awesome mimosas. Wow. I ? % DO NOT recommend going here for brunch. I DO NOT know how this place received 4.6 stars and as many reviews as they have. The service was above and beyond terrible. The waiter was hardly around. The young woman helping him was obviously not happy working there. When my cousin who has Celiacs asked what was gluten free on the menu, the waiter looked at the menu (it was clear he didn’t know the answer) and said, “You could chew on the menu.” To which my cousin replied, “I’m pregnant, so you probably don’t want to mess with me.” Our food took maybe 30 minutes to get out to us after we asked what was going on. The first manager brought us the $4 donut I ordered with a muffin and comped the donut. She did not offer her name or apologize. The night shift manager was nice, but I do not remember her name. I honestly do not know how this place is still in business and think it would be MUCH better to either shut down or go under new management. This was by far the worst brunch experience I’ve ever had and honestly the worst experience I’ve had in awhile. Pick somewhere else to eat! You have been warned! Also, how do you burn French toast? And cook an omelette wrong twice??
Such a good brunch! Loved the ambiance. We had the brioche donut, fried dough with cranberry jam, breakfast schnitzel, and eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back!!!
Absolutely delicious food & outstanding service. I had the steak & potato specialof the day, my potato was like a piece of art with thin toasted layersthat pulled awaylike an onion layer.. The almondine fish was light & flaky. The Butternut squash is warm & comforting. Our sald was fresh qith the perfect drizzle of dressing. The recommendation of wine pairings were spot on.
Fancy little restaraunt that had really good, tasty eats and a lovely date night feel. The restaraunt isn't too loud and the staff are attentive and kind. The menu is well thought out and everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their food! The cocktail drinks are perfectly balanced and there is a vast wine selection. The waitress offered to let us test wines before we committed! Would love to go back.
