Daytime spot for New Orleans brunch. Classic New Orleans brunch fare & a variety of beignets served in a relaxed cafe with live jazz.
The food and service was delightful. The coffee and food were really good. The mimosas had enough ingredients to be enjoyed. It was during a weekday and were a large party, they didn't have any issues accommodating. Parking can get a bit tricky but easy enough to find spots nearby. Absolutely give them a try.
Calling all foodies! Very fun and unique plates await! I got the breakfast plate with a little bit everything and it did not disappoint- also I would have liked to try the potatoes. The portions aren’t massive like what we are used to (except the omelette) but it was edible which is nice for a change. Will come back for mimosas another day :)
Yummy with a capital Y. The grits, the sweet bacon, the fried green tomato, all amazing. The coffee was strong and the waitstaff was very attentive. The atmosphere and decor were very welcoming. Overall great experience, go early to avoid waiting as it can get busy.
So I have to say this place exceeded my expectations! I went there with a few of my friends to celebrate our upcoming birthdays and this restaurant will suggested. You most definitely need to get there early in order to get a table and trust me it is worth the wait. They have amazing customer service our waitress was simply amazing, and the food! Literally there are no words! Everything was so good that honestly you did not need the syrup that came along with the pancakes everything had so much flavor! I cannot wait to come back! They do also offer military discount as well!
My visit to NOLA has been delayed due to long weekend waits- HINT HINT: come early on weekdays- but it was worth the wait. I came early on a Friday morning and dealt with no crowd whatsoever. The service was great. I started off with a coffee and beignets- a fantastic combination. It was a hard decision but I ended up ordering the chilaquiles. I was hesitant considering I was ordering a traditionally Mexican dish at a New Orleans inspired restaurant, but the dish worked out well. I 10/10 recommend. A perfect brunch-date spot!
A great place for Breakfast/Lunch/Brunch. The dining room is very spacious and you can even eat outside. Our server was very knowledgeable. I had the Double Decker Tacos which I have to say the Lemon Crema put over the top for me. My fellow guests had the Chicken and Beignets which is a nice twist on the chicken and waffle. I had a taste and must say way better than I expected although a bit too sweet for my taste but still excellent.Would recommend if you're not looking for the standard hotel breakfast.
First I want to say the staff were all so friendly. It really put the cherry on top of a great experience here. The atmosphere is perfect for a beautiful brunch date. The food was delicious! We ordered: Big Easy Biscuit- A big meal and a great choice if you love to eat meat. They do offer meat substitutes upon request Bread Pudding French Toast - Very flavorful with a spongy texture Praline Bacon - Some of the best bacon I've ever had. It's a prefect balance of salty and not too sweet. 10/10 Beignets - The regular ones, wonderful. The lemon filled... maybe a little too lemon filled for me. If you love lemon things it might be okay, it explodes lemon filling so beware lol Just a heads up, the only parking available is on the street so it's not always easy to find a spot.
The wait when we went was an hour and thirty minutes. We went to the Japanese Garden not to far from here to kill time. The food was great service was good as well. Beignets were nice. Food was good. No complaints at all. Mimosas were ok.
