Beautiful spot for lunch! The interior is super cozy and well decorated with foliage. Servers are also super attentive and quick to get food out. The food was pretty good - the sea bass was pretty fresh but a little over seasoned. The pear sorbet was delicious though! It was really great value for a restaurant week lunch.
This place was great! I would 100% go back. The wine, suggested by our waiter, was delicious. The appetizer was grilled octopus, super flavorful with the peppers. I ordered lobster ravioli - honestly i don't have one complaint. It was all great. My friend and I stayed there until past closing time and I didn't feel like they were trying to kick us out. Our waiter, Rodrigo, was super kind and attentive to our table. I enjoyed my time there and I loved the ambiance. Definitely going back. Thank you guys for a great experience.
We came here for an anniversary dinner and were given a fancy little private booth for the two of us which was super thoughtful of the staff. Our food was fantastic (we both got pasta dishes). We also got some delicious drinks and complimentary champagne at the end of our meal. The staff was all very nice and treated us politely. The decor was also very modern and sleek. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area!
One of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago Very professional and motivated employees The food tastes and qualities were real We had a small birthday event there and we really enjoyed the night. Wine selection is great. I would absolutely go back next time.
My first time in Chicago for a sales meeting. Group of us went here for an early dinner. Fantastic food. Greatenvironment. Excellent service as well. One person in our party had a gluten allergy and they accomodated her with no problem. The pics don't tell the full story. Highly recommend you visit and see for yourself.
Going out for Italian cuisine in Chicago is usually like dining in Italy. Not the case at Nonnina. I had great expectations that were quickly deflated. The quality and flavor of our dishes was average, compared to other Italian restaurants I have visited. The staff were average as well, we came, they served, we left. I wouldn't recommend, take a pass and let the tourists get caught here. FOLLOW ME for the best recommendations as I travel the world!
This Italian restaurant is very well located in the chicago downtown area and offers options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. I got their truffle mushroom omelette which was perfectly presented with crispy potatoes and veggies. Absolutely delish! Next I ordered lemon ricotta pancakes were ordered and they were nice. Very unique flavor but tasted really nice. Our waiter was very alert and kept tab on us to make sure we were comfortable. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and I loved the way they have balanced out bold bright colors with amazing furniture pieces. I definitely recommend this restaurant if one is visiting Chicago.
A great Italian restaurant! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere is great for any occasion! The pizza was delicious and very reasonably priced and the pasta was made fresh and absolutely wonderful! All around, a great restaurant and would recommend to anyone looking for a good Italian restaurant.
