First experience: The hand pulled noodles were very tasty. The beef and vegetables also fit the meal very well. Personally, the soup could’ve been more flavorful but that’s on me for not adding more side additions like egg. The grilled pork and meat pie appetizers were great too. Will come back to try more.
This place feels like you are walking in for some of mamas fresh homemade noodles, and that's exactly what you are getting! The food is delicious, I went with a beef stir fry with some fresh homemade noodles you can see them make them through the kitchen. Also got a side of the steamed pork - carrot dumplings off a recommendation from staff, and was not disappointed! They were sweet and savory with what appeared to be a perfectly made homemade sauce to pair. I will say the beef isn't the expensive kind, but it certainly does not disappoint, especially for the price! I'd be interested in a higher tier steak option if it is available even for a higher price. The place is very clean and has a relaxed vibe with properly spaced seating. Definitely will become a regular
Very good noodle shop next to Meet Fresh. The front entrance is actually in the back, where the parking lot is. The tomato and egg dry noodle was so tasty I’m shocked at how good it is and I don’t usually like the tomato and egg dish! Beef noodle soup was flavorful though it’s not a broth that’s been simmered for a long time. Braised pork with garlic sauce could use a little more salt for my taste but otherwise good.
Loved their food. It is authentic, fresh and provide good portion. Can't go wrong with beef noddle soup and some dumplings. I like them boiled, taste healthier. I have to say Kung Fu noodles nearby has better noddles but they don't have dumplings if I remember correctly. Don't waste your money on other gross American Chinese places.
The best noodle experience I’ve had in metro Detroit. Everything is made incredibly well. Started with the green onion pie with beef & cucumber salad. The noodles are wonderful. Spicy crawfish soup & stir fried shrimp noodles are exceptional. The pan fried dumplings came out last, but they were my favorite part of the meal.
Menu is slightly confusing to me, but the host explained & gave recommendations. There are dry noodles & noodle soups. I was going to go for beef, but the host said pork honey is really good, so I decided to go w/ that even though there was a chili pepper next to it. The host explained that it's very mild & it was. I shy away from already spicy dishes bc I like to add my own spice to my SPOON. Chopsticks are disposable AND reusable! Simple tear open your packet, which also has a toothpick, remove the wooden end of your chopstick, insert into the, surprisingly heavy, "handle" of your chopstick & voila! If dining in, you can watch part of the cooking process from your seat. Im short so i was only able to see when the wad of noodle was twisted. Would def come back to try other dishes!
I tried the beef rice noodles soup, pork chive dumplings (non fried), and the 夫妻肺片and they all hit the spot. The rice noodles were a little thin compared to my expectations but there was a hefty portion of it and the broth and beef were super tasty. There was even turnip/daikon in the soup! I wanna try different types of dumplings and broths next time ? I forgot to mention that they also do HAND-PULLED NOODLES!!
10/10: Amazing authentic Chinese cuisine! We got the Tomato Beef Sirloin Rice Bowl and the signature beef hand pulling noodles. I’ve heard many great things about this restaurant so I couldn’t wait to try it! The service was impeccable as we got to sit immediately and our food came out really fast! Fast service, delicious homemade food, served hot! The food made me feel like I was eating something my mom made me when I was a kid, very nostalgic and so so tasty! If you like noodles or authentic Chinese food, this place is a must try! On top of it, the prices are very reasonable and not too expensive for the quality of food! Can’t wait to be back to try more!
