October Is Here — My Favorite Fall Moments and Plans

This year has been a period of significant growth for me, and I am deeply grateful to God for the progress. Growth keeps life moving forward; without it, we become stagnant. My blog has come a long way — I’m not yet where I want to be, but I am no longer where I used to be. I’m thankful for the chance to use my words to encourage someone out there. #IhopeIinspiresomeone
Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but never tried? Take the leap—if it aligns with God’s will. Proverbs 14:12 reminds us that a way that seems right to a person can lead to destruction, so seek God’s guidance first. Once you know you are following God’s plan, don’t hesitate. Don’t procrastinate. Start now. You don’t need to know everything at once; take one step at a time and you will arrive. When I write, I feel fulfilled, as though I am emptying myself of all I have to give.
Beyond writing, I’ve launched a new venture as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay. My starter kit arrived yesterday, and I’m thrilled. Mary Kay was founded to help women balance spiritual life, family, and career. At first I thought that was just a sales pitch, but I’ve experienced its truth. Founder Mary Kay Ash emphasized that God should come first, family second, and career last. That principle resonates with me as a mother who wants to be present for her children. This opportunity lets me earn income without compromising my commitment to building a strong home. #Grateful
I refuse to go to my grave with unused gifts. I will keep giving and sharing what I have. What is the gift inside you that needs release? Don’t hoard your manuscript, don’t shelve that song, don’t delay the business idea. Do the thing you feel called to do. Time passes and does not return.
We are now entering the final quarter of the year. Live each day as if it were your last, while wisely planning for many years ahead. And remember: Jesus is coming soon. Let this guide your actions so that “whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” Colossians 3:17
Raise your glass with me to an exceptional October! Happy Independence Day to every Nigerian and Southern Cameroonian reading this. I’ll be sharing more engaging stories, practical recipes, weekly updates, and progress from my Mary Kay journey.

P.S. Time for a #ThrowbackThursday. Below are a few posts I wrote last year — reflections and conversations I still stand by.
