Italian food & wine in a rustic setting. Seasonal Italian menu of homemade pastas, thin-crust pizzas & wood-grilled meats in a rustic space.
What a fantastic, fantastic place and meal. We came here for a birthday with 10+ people and so had to go with the prix fixe meal but I couldn't have been happier with the meal. There were a TON of courses and plenty of it. Honestly, almost too much food for us. The chicken was roasted so well and the mushroom pasta dish was fantastic. The ricotta spread they brought out was absolutely delicious. Drinks wise they had a good selection - I don't think I was overly impressed with any of the drinks, BUT I will say that the espresso martinis were not only well made but DANGEROUS. They certainly turned the party up a notch. Regarding the actual vibe of the place. Such a cute location, we were sitting in the covered patio with lots of greenery etc. The ONLY complaint I would have is the location we were in. As we were a large group it is only reasonable to believe that we would be loud, they put us in the front of the patio - which was less secluded. We were trying to be respectful of the people around us, but again there were a lot of us. I would have preferred if they had seated us towards the back so that we were less disruptive to those around us. All that in mind we had a WONDERFUL time and I look forward to coming here again.
Great spot to grab dinner for going to a show at the Met. The food was great, I would definitely encourage sharing dishes with the table so you can taste a lot more options. The dishes were beautifully presented as well. The only criticism was regarding the bar service. It took forever (20+ minutes) to get drinks on the table at the start of the evening and then just as long between rounds. The bar was “backed up” the whole time.
We recently worked with the private events team at Osteria for an intimate wedding in their greenhouse. We cannot recommend this location enough. Working with Fiona McCarthy was truly special. She went above and beyond to ensure communications were clear and prompt throughout the planning experience with our couple. The team at Osteria worked hard to ensure every detail was executed when it came time for our couple's big day. We look forward to future opportunities to partner with this location!
The place was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was beautiful and everyone was so kind. Our waiter Ryan was so attentive and patient, he answered all of our menu related questions! The pre fix menus for restaurant week was also delicious and the portions were big enough that we left extra full! Will definitely go back in the future!
Beautiful restaurant! Food was great, staffs are friendly! Food are small servings. And you have to make reservations ahead. We were lucky got a last minute reservation in the dining room but couldn’t get anything in the garden.
Excellent service. Jordan, our server, was outstanding! The ravioli was the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary bread was soooo tasty. The flank steak was cooked to perfection. I can’t say enough about how great this place was. We had to wait a long time between dishes for our steak because it was Valentine’s Day and they were slammed, but they made up for it by giving us complimentary gelato and octopus. Can’t forget about the garlic potatoes. The flavor explosion in my mouth was unforgettable. Thank you Osteria! We’ll be back!
Came here for second dinner recently, and enjoyed my meal. While I only was able to try a couple of dishes, they were of such high quality, I have no doubt that the entire menu is excellent. The pasta, vegetable and bread I had were all tasty & the wine by the glass options were solid as well. Definitely looking forward to coming back for a full meal.
One of the best happy hours in the city! Fabulous options at great prices. We always get the octopus, daily pizza and the rigatoni, they never fail to impress me. If I had to choose only one item, the octopus is without a doubt the best. Also, the servers and hostess are very kind and attentive.
