We stayed at the Penns view hotel and decided to try out the attached Panorama restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. The salmon was fantastic, excellent flavor and cooked to perfection. The tortellini was good but did not hold a candle to the salmon in terms of flavor. Wine selection was good and the wine we had was great. We chose to eat outside, I will say the noise from the highway and proximity to the road is not ideal. It didn't ruin our experience by any means but if you feel that it would, keep that in mind. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would come back next time we're in the city.

Ok, so it's Restaurant Week. We expect the crowd. We made a reservation, tried to make it for 7pm, whoever answered suggested 7:30 pm so we took it. We arrive a few minutes before, and the table is not ready for another 30 minutes. We get the table, ready to order, because we had time to make definitive decisions. 1st course comes out- plated beautifully, tasted delicious. Wine flights arrive. All is well. Until we wait another 40-45 minutes for our main course. At this point, everyone is in the kitchen trying to help out, and we know because we were seated right beside the kitchen. The waitress walks by several times, never stopping to check on us or give an update or anything. Finally the food arrives. It's good. Again, plated beautifully. Then dessert and complimentary lemon cello for our inconvenience. Good food, but I would not go during Restaurant Week.

Panorama was a bit of a disappointment. It probably will make a nice bar date if you are wine aficionados, but as a dinner date it leaves you underwhelmed. The wine flights are a great way to try a variety of different bottles. They are served in an ascending "tower" for an interesting presentation. As far as service, everything was very disorganized. There was no host/hostess to seat us, we had to check in at the bar, which presented the staff with a bit of confusion as to why nobody was up front. The kitchen had no sense of timing with multiple courses coming out in rapid succession, resulting in a crowded, cluttered table. The food itself was very... okay. The bruschetta was a pleasant start to the meal, but as the antipasti and entrees came out, the food went steadily downhill. This is the first time I've ever experienced tough veal, which also was shockingly lacking in flavor. We entertained a serious discussion about asking for salt because the veal was completely devoid of flavor and seemed like it was cooked from frozen. The pasta was okay, but the ragu also seemed lacking in flavor, to say it was one note would be too kind... there were no notes, just red. Luckily we had wine to add some flavor to our meal.

Panorama offers a wonderful dining experience with an unmatched selection of quality wines and an espresso Martini to die for. We tried the Bolognese and it was delectable. If you're looking for a great place for a fancy date, definitely take a look at Panorama.

The food was absolutely exceptional and the service stellar! Had the rosé wine flight special, the incredible calamari, the house made cavatelli, and the rich cioccolato cherry-chocolate cake. It was all to die for and just a wonderful experience overall. My friend had the ravioli of the day which was pesto topped, smoked mozzarella ravioli with crunchy lamb pancetta—a beautifully plated and extravagant dish. Couldn’t recommend it more, can’t wait to go back!

Came here for dinner during restaurant week - definitely worth it! Both the calamari and hen of the woods mushroom appetizers were excellent- with great umami flavor from the mushrooms. The orechiette pasta and braccie mains were both decent - although the meat in the bracciole was still a bit stringy. The tiramisu and chocolate cake were tasty also - I'd recommend both. Service was excellent and the ambience perfect for a nice night out!

I went to Panorama for the first time ever last night and I'm sitting here looking at the rest of y'all like "shame on you all for never telling me about this incredible place." ? Since 1990, they've been in Old City with the world's largest remote on-tap wine station and a remarkable Italian menu that compliments any glass of wine on that menu. They've got the best damn wine flights in the region, with tons of variations and options to choose from. I think I know why I'm just finding out about this spot: Because it's so good and unique that superfans didn't want people in on their favorite little secret. My bestie Amanda and I ate and drank through the menu and couldn't find a miss -- seriously, go and get your everlasting life! ❤️ ?????

Horrendous service, alright food. The only thing high end about this place was the toilet paper, which was two ply.  We went for restaurant week and were seated almost 25 minutes after our 8:45pm reservation. This should have been the warning that the night was going to be rough, but I was still optimistic at this point. Afterall, I naively believed this place must be amazing if it's packed.  Our server took our water and drink orders and then was basically non-existent for the rest of the night. It took 10 minutes to get water, 30 minutes to receive our cocktails, and she only checked on us for more drinks 2 times throughout the entire night. By 9:45, the place was only half full and we only had bread, cocktails, and an empty water pitcher. When we finally managed to flag down our server for a second round of drinks, she brought back bottles when we ordered draft. I’m still not sure if they just dumped the bottle into a cup since there were no visible beer taps. We finished our meal and paid the check by 11:15. There was absolutely no reason this meal should have taken this long other than incompetence. Food wise, the bread tasted like an old sponge, the cavatelli was creamy and delicious, the veal was overcooked, and the duck was dry. The gelato was yummy, the cakes were all over baked. I had the raspberry cosmo and once it finally decided to arrive, it was the star of the night. The icing on the cake was the manager went around to every table of the night but ours. I would not recommend this place unless you want to be miserable.
