Perrine

Excellent service and wonderful food at Perrine! I went in as a solo female diner and they made me feel very welcome. When the food was ready, a small group of guys came and presented the food with a flourish, and made a bit of a fuss over me, in a very friendly way. Then they left me alone to enjoy the meal. It was perfectly done! I had the Malabar shrimp curry, tasty with complex flavors.

They were amazing for being an upper scale restaurant in New York they were very friendly and personable especially as we had brought my 9year old daughter with us they welcomed her just as nicely as they did the adults in the group. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef even did up a special desert plate for my daughter in addition to her ordered dessert. They deserve 10stars if I could give that!!

Classy decor, great customer service. The best sukkotash I ever had. Filet mignon was average, I felt the white and orange sauce wasn't really compatible with the meat. Fresh shrimp platter was great (but tomato salsa sauce could be more tangy). Octopus salad was a delight! The restaurant manager (who lives in Brooklyn) is friendly and down-to-earths to the guests, also not arrogant like other upscale restaurants. Highly recommend visiting!

Great place for dinner. The ambiance is great, vintage but in amazing condition. The food was exceptional and the service really professional. Pasta with shrimps was truly tasty and beef was melting. The place was not very busy, so not very noisy. It’s a great option for fine dining

Excellent and friendly service, food was delectable and the cocktails really well prepared. The atmosphere was a bit bar-like.

Had brunch here for the first time and I must say that I will be back again soon. Really enjoyed our entire meal from start to finish. We opted for the 3 course brunch, so had an appetizer, main and finished it off with dessert. You really can't go wrong with a Taj property. Oh and the service was excellent as well! @traveleen_gurl

I ordered “kale caesar salad” for starter. When it was served, I received a dish of lettuce. Lettuce is not even listed on the integration of this dish one the menu. I tried my best to find all of lacinoto kale as the main integration on the menu. I can only get a fork of kale at most. I would say it is cheating as I am so disappointed. PS I raised the review from 1 star to 2 as the desert is nice.
