Not sure why so many people highly recommend this place. First of all. Service not good. I did not feel comfortable there. The dish is pricy compare to the size of it. The flavor? Not impressive either. Generally speaking. The food in the display counter are good. Most of the drinks are OK.

It’s one of my favorite Chinese eateries in the San Gabriel Valley. Big menu and almost everything on their menu is delicious. (Try their LoMein, rice dishes and different types of puddings). Also love their drinks and desserts. They have a lot of locations in LA and I hope they can expand to the SF bay area in the near future. Casual place but high quality food ~

Food is great, including black sesame puree, sauteed spinach, and Japanese style pork chops. I love the chrysanthemum tea. Good stuff. I don't have much to say about service because my interactions with the servers took less than 30 seconds to complete. They were very efficient for sure. I just dropped all my loose change into the tip jar.

They have never changed their excellent in providing high quality authentic Chinese boutique food. Quality from drink to dinner plates. Always clean and fresh.

To corporate: We called them at 10:35 PM they said they close at 11 and to come, five minutes before 11 they closed they said they’re not going to service us. There was 3 females and 1 male

The food was slightly above average while the service was okay. They don't have the same service quality as other restaurants have. For example, they didn't ask drinks first and I had to ask them for water. I was left with my food but no drinks. Other restaurants also have waiters/waitresses coming around to refill your water, but again, they didn't have any. This place is more for takeout, desert, or snacks rather than an actual dine-in restaurant.

I am very disappointed with the coconut mango roll. The rice wrap is so dry that plastic fork can not cut it through. The mango is not very fresh. I would assume it was made days ago. The shop shall sale it as days old item.

Phoenix is my go to when I am craving some good Chinese food. It’s kind of like a reliable homie, who you know will always be there for you! It’s open late, has yummy food, an array of options and yummy drinks. It is a tad bit small, but there’s usually always seating available! My family and I go to Phoenix often. It’s a nice place to agree on when we can’t decide what to eat. We all have a favorite dish here, and it’s a nice spot to order take out as well. They have a large menu so it’s super easy to find something someone would enjoy. Their drinks and desserts are also really good if your just in the mood for something sweet. Our go tos here are usually the beef fried rice, walnut shrimp, korean bbq slice, chow mein/fun and porridge when I’m sick! But there are so many good options here, you just can’t go wrong. I’ll be back to visit again, whether it’s for dessert or a late night dinner!
