Upscale spot for new American cuisine. Sophiticated restaurant serving New American fare, including seafood & steak dishes, plus wine.
Food is ok. Good thing is there is always sitting in the busy tunnel. So, if you want to meet someone, this is a good place to have a conversation. Price is ok and reasonable. Not too many restaurants here with this convenience
Visited here on Sept 13 after dropping my car off to the shop. I was quite hungry. The chefs delighted my spirit with the dish I was served (shrimp, crab and avocado salad).....and for once all of my food was devoured. The Sweet Tea was also very good. Please thank Manager Consuela Valerie, Aushanti and staff for a pleasant atmosphere and excellent meal. It would be my pleasure to return. Sunnyside Mayor
Lunch at Post Oak was Amazing!!! This was my second visit here. The picture attached is of their Shrimp, Crab and Avocado Salad w/ Toasted Pecans and a Lemon dressing. Amazing!!! ? Yesterday was my third day there, but I forgot to take a picture of the Chicken Salad Sandwich on Croissant. OMGoodness.... Simply Delicious!!! And the croissant was grilled, buttery and very flaky. The sandwich also came with a small side salad. Not only have I been pleased every time I've gone there. So have my co-workers. I'll rate Post Oak Grill as 1 of my favorite top 5 restaurants in Houston. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?
I frequent the Downtown Post Oak Grill Kiosk quite often for breakfast tacos provided I work nearby. The tacos are never hot or even that great for the most part but I would continue to visit because again it was quick. Today was my last day patronizing the Post Oak Grill due to the service. When I arrived today, there was a lady walking up to order and I was next so I stood behind her. The worker made a really big deal out of where I was standing telling me the line was to the left of the customer standing there and not to the right of her. I simply stated there was not anyone there and she decided to combat my comment by telling me why I needed to stand where she told me to. I put my head down to avoid any additional confrontation and because I did not listen to her she mumbled under her breath the entire time she made my food. It was extremely rude and just not the way I wanted to begin my day. I am disappointed I now have to find another breakfast location because the Post Oak Grill is adamant about customers standing in an imaginary line at the make shift taco stand.
Great food, excellent service. This is a good place for a work lunch or meet n greet. Came for a birthday lunch
The food was great but service was a little slow . But food was good enough to offset the waits. This was my first visit and I will be back.
Great restaurant and staff. I short wait to be seated for lunchtime. The black bean soup is delicious with the jalapeño biscuits. I also tried the mac and cheese that had grilled vegetables (broccoli, carrots, green beans, asparagus, garlic and grilled onions) now this was an amazing dish. So go with an appetite because the portion size are very fulfilling guaranteed to leave full or a to go.
Total garbage food. My crab shrimp and avocado salad was missing the crab and avocado!! 2 others in my party were missing them as well. Poor quality and service.
