Market counter for inventive vegan ramen. Take-out counter in Grand Central Market for vegan ramen dishes from "Top Chef" winner Ilan Hall.
Great find, totally vegan ramen bar with fantastic choices. I had the spicy pork (omnipotent) and it tasted as good as any ramen I have tasted. Brilliant chef Will running a fast service. This whole place is amazing with a huge variety of food and drink outlets.
Went here to try the vegan ramen and i must say that it didn’t disappoint. We ordered spicy pork ramen and it was on point. The service is fast and staff is friendly. Amazing place to try if you are vegan or vegetarian. You wont be disappointed.
Taste wise I thought it matched up to all the Japanese places in the area. Some Japanese Ramen is a little too salty but the broth here is on point. Probably one of the best broth around. I thought the portions were too small. They only have veggie options which I did not mind. Great place!!
Wow! I loved this place’s “interpretation” of Dan Dan noodles, it was spicy and delicious. The Garlic Ramen was superb, the ramen itself was fresh and chewy (in the best noodley way), I liked the broth and extra props to the melt-in-your mouth vegan eggs! Highly recommend getting an extra egg for your bowl. I only wish customer service was a little friendlier, or else definitely 5 stars!
Amazing vegan place. We were passing by the area and saw central market filled up with food shops and people so decided to check out the market and landed on to this vegan ramen place. I wanted to try ramen from a long time and finally got a chance to do so here, so ordered a spicy ramen. The portion was good and food was quality, loved the flavors. I recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic ramen, a must visit place:
First of all the name alone is super clever, and fun. The location is not the best, but definitely worth the stop if you're close by. Best vegan ramen we have ever had. Garlic ramen with a vegan egg. Delicious.
When trying to find any vegan options. I came upon this amazing ramen spot called Ramen Hood. I recommend the spicy “pork” ramen. The spice level is just right but has a bit of a kick. The “pork” spam that they make homemade was amazing (and I’m not a fan of spam). The staff is friendly and the counter is comfy to sit and eat. A must if you’re vegan and want some yummy ramen!
4/5, the Dan Dan noodles were okay but did not live up to my expectations. Go with the ramen if you are unsure. I found grand central market’s variety of options overall to be pretty disappointing but if I was going back again I’d definitely try the sticky rice Thai restaurant.
