My wife had the pleasure of taking me to this awesome place on the south side and we enjoyed it together! Man as we were leaving the line was out the door, and I was wondering why? Well, the proof is in the pudding like Grandpa used to say. The fish is great the fries are great all the condiments are available there right at the counter even all the to go things you need are available to the customer. The portions are exceptional especially for two people, heck we even brought leftovers home it was that much. Pricing is reasonable and we definitely will return because I didn't get a chance to have the shrimp! Thanks for this awesome experience!

Food was amazing, my wife saw this place on the news and they got the blue plate so I decided to go for a drive. Drove to the place and it looks like a whole in the wall but beautiful Spurs memorabilia on the outside, we walked in and waited in line, we placed our order and was told it was gonna be a 30 min wait, time goes by but wasn't sure if there ac unit needed free-on but it was tolerable with the ceiling fans going. Once we had our food it was good well worth the drive and wait, Rudy's seafood keep doing what you guys are doing cause 60 years strong and God willing 60 more!!!! ??? congratulations on 60 years!!!

Stopped by for lunch on a weekend. Their specials are a great bargain! The fish, shrimp and stuffed crab were delicious! Will definitely return!

Love the fish and shrimp here. Usually order the family fish and that's always enough for the family and plenty to take home. Good music is usually playing in the background. Staff is always friendly.

Went in today to order a large family and some fried mushrooms like old times and it's just as delicious as i remember! The ladies at the front taking orders are super nice and professional. The food was hot and it didn't take long for my order to be complete! Will go back very soon! Thank you for all you do.

This was my first visit to Rudys. I'd heard people mention it time after time, and one day while passing by I decided to stop in and check it out. The prices are very reasonable for seafood, and after ordering the food came out to my table pretty quick. A steady flow of people were both dining in and arriving to pick up orders to go. I ordered the Elvas combo, 2 fish and 3 oyster plate, with fries, hush puppies, rice pilaf and coleslaw. Everything was great. The fish and oysters had great flavor and everything that came out was fresh out the kitchen. I will be returning here with friends to show them this hidden gem of the southside. The quality and price of the food here were much better than many of the seafood restaurants located around town.
