Casual spot for eclectic global fare. Simple-yet-stylish spot for globally inspired fare served indoors or on the shaded patio.
Nice and low key place on a bustling stretch in the heart of Hollywood. The food was pretty good and decently priced. The burger had a slightly burnt aftertaste though. The short rib was the real star of the show - it was juicy and delicious and a huge portion. They have specials that change regularly, but other than that the menu is a little small. Service was good. Again, we're talking the middle of Hollywood so you will want to make a reservation at peak weekend times. Everyone opts to sit on the cozy patio, not in the small interior space. Parking is tough because it's Hollywood; pray for street parking or find a public parking structure.
One of the few places open for dinner on Thanksgiving night. Very thankful we had a really nice meal here. The waiter was attentive and got everything brought quickly. The food was well prepared and had a nice amount of seasoning. The burger was well made and the fries were nice and NOT loaded with salt. The baked brie was lovely as well though I 2ish there was a bit more Brie. I hadn't been to LA in a while so was surprised to find a 20% service charge which made me unsure how to tip. I ended up adding a few more dollars on top but the whole service charge was a bit confusing. I wish the restaurant would be a bit clearer about their tipping policy. Either way it was enjoyable.
I was looking for something close to the Hollywood Pantages so we would have a comfortable amount of time to casually eat and saunter on over to our show. We went early and ordered a ton of food for two. Here's how it went: Arugula Tostada & Corn Tostada: I'm digging the tostada menu! Loved that they roasted the corn. Shrimp Gambas: This was my favorite, super tasty with LARGE shrimp. Salt Cod Churros: deep fried and savory. I think they could zhuzh this up with a more exciting sauce. Short Rib: tender and filling but I definitely needed more sauce in the bowl, I loved that it was served with corn tortilla chips. Lamb Tagine: I didn't love this as much as I thought I would. The meat was a little tough for my liking. Bread Pudding: Loved this! Excellent bread pudding, not heavy and dense.
They had several different vegetarian options I wanted to try, but I decided on the chévere gnocchi. It was fantastic. The best gnocchi I’ve had. Others in our party ordered salmon and the salmon belly sandwich and everyone said their food was amazing. We shared the crème brûlée and the bread pudding for dessert and both were amazing, but I did like the bread pudding just a little more. The outside seating is amazing. Best if you can find street parking.
The service and food was amazing. The taste was fresh and not overpowering. The chef uses fresh ingredients and makes everything taste fabulous. You must try the roasted carrot chips.

Lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere, great service and delicious and unique cuisine. I got the corn tostada, lamb chops, and the seasonal carrots.
The chef has outstanding culinary skills.Great location and very good ambience as well. I tried the fetuccini Alfredo shrimp. It was very flavorful. The crispy fried calamari is also very tasty.
