San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk

I wish I could change hotels. The room is fine but maintenance had to work on heater. At least I'm warm now. There are no amenities here. Use your key to request an elevator, open your door,get into the actual hotel. No people work here, just computers. Can't get anything but a greasy burger. The one bar they have is tiny and closes early. The street noise is ridiculous. Cars honking throughout the night, screaming. Stay away from the Riverwalk area. There's nothing there but bars and kids acting stupid. I'd change hotels but this one will charge me my full stay so I'm stuck with it. And I'm a Bonvoy member. You'd think they'd treat customers better. Beware!

This hotel is so beautiful, with such courteous staff, I wish I could live here! Every time I come here they make me feel like I am at home. If you have a little time to spare, the happy hour at the bar is one to experience. The rooms were so clean and grandly appointed that my wife wants to take some of that inspiration and take it home to our guest house. We will definitely be back.

Ok.... I may be biased a little bit. I got the penthouse suite upgrade!! But the other rooms are nice too :) The concierge area is nice, well stocked and has a 28th floor balcony (dont look down) valet service is not cheap but the parking area near to the hotel is lacking. Staff was nice and friendly and this place is right on the famous Riverwalk! I stay here again even without the awesome upgrade!!

I worked here for 15 years in the past, it was a wonderful time and I learned a lot about hospitality and how to treat customers, with consistency. Marriott is like a family, with spotless rooms, room service, bar, restaurant, pool, hot tub, gym and always changing and keeping up with the times. I highly recommend you stay here, and ask to upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking San Antonio's beautiful Riverwalk, your memories will last a lifetime.

Nice view of the Riverwalk from 20th floor. Very convenient to access and walk the River. Fancy automated elevators like NYC Marquis...no buttons to push...efficient but confusing if you never seen. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Came into town for a concert. After sitting in front of the hotel for an hour, we were told the valet was closed and overbooked! The hotel didn’t have enough spaces to accommodate the guests! After driving around for 2 1/2 hours, we found a parking garage to park at. When we walked to the hotel, conveniently the valet was accepting cars again. Because of this inconvenience, we were late to our concert. After the concert, the bar was so packed, we couldn’t get drinks or food. If you are looking for a great hotel with convenient amenities, go somewhere else.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location! The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. In the bar, Fernando was especially kind, helpful, and made our stay so much fun. Great place to be while in San Antonio

Don't stay here if you have little kids. The front desk makes security roam the halls after 8pm listening for little noises. And then they will knock on your door and ask you to keep it down. All the while you can hear the hustle from the streets below. :/ very out of the ordinary. Wierd, and concerning to be harassed like that. Front Desk explains that "it's their policy".... makes me worry about kids safety at this hotel.
