I loved how beautiful this restaurant is and was so happy to be going for dinner. We initially found this restaurant with the Dine in LA (3 courses $55 or 4 courses $65) and gathered a group of 4 of us to go. Parking was super easy as they have a dedicated parking lot and walking up to the restaurant was so beautiful and the hostess was very kind to us. We were seated on the tennis courts, outside and when I say that I mean the amazing outdoor seating that you would never know was a tennis court. The restaurant, in general, has a preset menu (like Dine in La, which was cheaper since they were part of Dine in LA), they also have an upgraded menu so you have 2 choices. We purchased the wine pairing for each meal, $35 for 3 courses and $45 for the 4-course dinner and it was lovely. We had a little issue getting our drinks initially but it all worked out. For my first course I got the heirloom tomatoes & peaches, it was good, and I got the grilled octopus, again good and the short rib. The short rib was ok, had too much clove in it and needed to cook for about 1 more hour as it was very tough. Someone at the table got the 4 course and the NY steak, add on another $34 for that, $20 more for the truffle sauce added to potatoes and $10 for the brownie. While the night was beautiful and the food was good, it wasn't great and I didn't like that they didn't charge us correctly, they charged us the Fri/Sat fee instead of the Dine in LA fee, ($40 there) and all the extra surcharges, they charged us a "Healthy LA" fee of $15.12 and they added 20% gratuity for 4 of us with a "suggested gratuity" on the bottom of the receipt. I'd suggest they work on their menu and not overcharge people. For the 4 of us the bill was $677.38...and I think there are better options for the avg of $170 per person.
Immaculate vibes. Best service I’ve experienced in LA and I’ve been to every and any high end restaurant here. Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. Again the service was impeccable, so impeccable I had to review. I had the steak and it didn’t even need any sauce with it the flavoring was magnificent. 12/10 recommend. ??
Place is so beautifully decorated outside and inside the restaurant, I was amazed by the ambiance and setting. The food itself was delicious with a variety of options from starters to main dishes and desserts. We ordered a few sides to shared which are pictured. I ordered the lamb dish pasta which was very tasty but also smaller portion than I had expected. Service was great and very attentive. Parking is limited in the lot but there’s also street parking.
I have driven by this location many times so it’s been on my list to try for a few months now and last night I finally got the opportunity to dine for dinner and had a very nice experience. They only offer a three course prefix menu for $65 (or 4 course for $75) and tip is already included into the bill @ 20%. There was a very large corporate event in the back of the restaurant which is very large, bright, and open with a Mediterranean style to it. It’s also right next-door to the Toluca Lake Tennis Club so it’s actually a very busy property. They have a small parking lot directly in front as well as an overflow lot next to it, but we saw many diners just doing street parking. Our server was very polite and their menu has many options. The portions are very large as well so that was a pleasant surprise. I ended up choosing two items from the second course menu and one from the third course. To start I had the tagliatelle which was very tasty and mixing the egg into it was my favorite part. Next came my favorite dish of the night which was the gazpacho. They included some snow crab claws and large watermelon pieces so it was definitely a unique and delicious version of one of my favorite soups. For my entrée I chose the short ribs which was very good as well, and a very large portion. I wish it came with a stew on the bottom or a side but still it was very good. Overall a really nice experience and definitely some place that is geared toward celebrating, but it could be used for a business function as well because it is very large on the inside and can accommodate very large groups. I would like to see them do an à la carte menu because I didn’t really feel like eating three full dishes but aside from that it was a nice experience and I would recommend.
I had the four couse prefix menu with the grilled octopus, the tagliatelle, the skirt steak, then follow it up with the cheesecake for dessert. The food was really good and the portions were just right. Try to sit inside for a better aesthetic because the exterior is really a glorified tennis court. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the cocktails, especially the Oaxacan pineapple specialty drinks were fantastic.
Where do I begin?! The food was amazing, ambience was great and the service matched! Went out with a few girlfriends to celebrate Mother's day, and this restaurant was great choice. The lamb was so juicy, and fell right off the bone, the cheesecake was amazing, and I'll definitely will be having that again the next time I dine there. Our drinks were amazing as well! Being in my third trimester, I still wanted to celebrate, so the bartender created specially made mock tails just for me and they were amazing. The depth of flavor with the food and drinks and attention to detail throughout the night will have me returning soon!
Celebrated my birthday with dinner at Santuari. It was fabulous! Ordered the 4 course prefix menu on Saturday night. Every course was delicious. I have not one bad thing to say. The cocktails were wonderful and SO beautiful! The staff was very attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.
