We had an enjoyable weekend getaway at this hotel! We had dinner at the Ko‘sin restaurant and all of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The manager gave us a complementary appetizer when our original order took a few minutes too long to come out. Our waiter William was absolutely wonderful! We had a one bedroom Mountain View suite, which did not disappoint! The pool area was relaxing and not too crowded. The pool staff were very attentive. I would have loved to relax in the lower lobby area but it was abnormally cold there. If it was a little warmer, the lobby bar would be more inviting. Also, the “guest service” representatives/front desk staff can have some room for improvement. When checking in, the front desk staff did not give us any information about the hotel, only gave us our key. When walking around we discovered the hotel had a spa and shuttle services to nearby areas. When we wanted late check out, we had to call the morning off and request it. When we asked for late check out the “guest service” representative gave us only until 12:30 then we asked for 2:30 and she stated “you can get 2 pm but that is the absolute latest.” Later, I asked the front desk and she easily gave us 2:30 pm late check out. As titanium members, I didn’t like that I had to negotiate, when this is an included amenity and the hotel was pretty empty. Normally, you can get up to 4 pm late check out.

Very nice resort, would definitely visit again. Pools were excellent temp for our girls to swim and plenty of space. Food was good but choices after a few days seamed limited, most of the food was the same. Stayed in Governor suite which was a nice room with excellent patios, furniture was fairly uncomfortable. Initial check in wasn’t the best but they quickly made adjustments and at the end of our stay they were flexible with a late check out since it was a Sunday and they had capacity. Outside of the initial person that checked us in the staff was extremely friendly and happy. Gym was well equipped to get some general exercise during our 5 day stay and the shear size of the resort and walking to get from one place to the next will keep you in shape - but very nice grounds for those walks. We did use the on site horse facility for a horseback ride and it was great as well. Pretty picky thus not a 5 star rating but overall was very very good.

My husband and I decided to do a staycation/date night here. Every single staff member we ran into was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jose the valet. The lounge bar was lovely with a great menu. The hamburger was amazing and the little snack jars were delicious. The rooms were also very nice, but had some odd discoveries. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all full size, but attached to the wall in the shower. So if you wanted to use the separate bath, you couldn't use them. When we did try to use the body wash it was empty, so we had to use the hand soap by the sink. Also, there weren't any robes in the room. I know it's a small thing, but at $400 a night at a resort you kind of expect some little luxuries like a robe. Other than the odd issues in the room I would highly recommend staying here, just bring your own toiletries just in case you want to take a bath.

Awesome place . Stayed with family for around 10 days during the Christmas holidays. Great pools . For smaller kids there is a water slide to keep them engaged. Loved their breakfast . Played tennis at the tennis courts. Loved the boat rides and there is an equestrian facility right near by. Recommend this place. By the way it’s very close to the Premium Outlet!!

This place is worth every penny! I love all my Marriott stays. They usually never disappoint, but this one was one of my favorites. The staff was all A1.. From the valet, and housekeeping to the front desk and restaurant staff. I felt important. The room itself was clean, but could use a little extra attention to detail but I'm also a clean freak. Unless I clean it I feel it needs help. The pool area deck does need a little work, but other than that it was nice and clean. The guy running around taking drink and food orders needs a raise!! He was on top of it all. This was my birthday staycation for a day. Between room, drinks and food we spent about $800. Worth every penny. Will be back soon!

You’ll enjoy a stay here if you set the right expectations. PROS: clean room, good food, amazing pools, beautiful and quiet setting, friendly staff, water and towels available poolside, weekly activities, close to south Phoenix restaurants. CONS: food is expensive on the resort, they charge extra for things like room service without any warning, the spa is really pricey, the golf course isn’t related to the resort so you can’t use your resort credit there, in-room TVs are old and slow (though they are big). All in all, we’re glad we stayed here. We had a good time and the pools made it worth the visit. If you want your money to go further, reserve a tee time at any of the courses 10 minutes from the resort. They aren’t as nice, but they are a 1/5 of the price. Same goes for the restaurants.

This place is tucked so far back you’ll need a map to find it. Thankfully for GPS it won’t be hard to find. From the valet attendant, front desk attendant, even the maids, and custodians were some of the nicest people I’ve met. The front desk attendant (Denise, I think her name was) was simply so inviting and helpful. She explained everything so quickly but detailed and since the property is huge and it was my first time there, I could manage to get around easier and not get frustrated if I took a wrong turn. Even though the pool area was a ghost town because of the season, it was still very impressive. 3 huge pools, hot tub, plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and a twisty slide into on the pools! There’s also a small brook where you can relax to the sound of water rushing down. Very zen like. I get most excited for the room. Especially the shower. Which they knocked out of the park. A huuuge tub to just sit in and relax. Check out the videos down below for what I mean. ??

This place was a delight, primarily because the front desk and management (Jason) were kind and caring and responsive. I had an issue with a noisy AC unit and a couple other minor issues…which normally would have convinced me to rate them lower. But Jason and team not only listened without any defensiveness, but acted immediately to fix the issues. Great customer service is worth 5-stars all day, even without glitz and glamour and high end amenities. The fitness facility is nice and adequate for most workouts. The geographical area is beautiful and the grounds and pools are nicely maintained. Seems like a great place to bring the family. I didn’t enjoy the spa or on-site restaurant, but my stay showed they really care about the customer experience.
