Pretty cool setup, you can do your shopping and afterwards enjoy a fresh pizza and alcoholic beverage. I decided to try their beer on tap. Actually tried one that is called Betty which is the lighter one of all. And goes down really good. And the other beverage I tried was the beer 56, now that one had a taste that you have to accustom to. Slightly bitter, definitely a beer you have to sip on. beer poured out very cold, and good part was that it was only $2, as well as wine for $4
SoFlo Pizza at Ceasar Chavez and Flores downtown SA is delicious! We were all pleasantly surprised at the high quality pizza. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. We will definitely be back. You can't beat a large for $10 that tastes really good .
Decent pizza and great price inside the HEB supermarket. Prepared very quickly for $10. The taste is pretty good but the dough did not taste very pizza like, and missing some pizza depth. It was worth at that price, but there is better pizza elsewhere.
I already love shopping and working for H‑E‑B but now I have another reason to love them. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius! Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while and it was less than $12 for an XL specialty pizza.
I had to give this place a shot. This place definitely has the pizza taste to be a 5. I would say my current rating could be closer to a 3.5. The pizza quality is good. The crust could be an artisan type style. The cheese was flat sort of like a Costco style pizza cheese. Here's where my rating kicks in. The pizza was overly sprinkled with oregano salt or whatever it was but it was salted to the depths of hell. It was almost not edible . The cook may have went a little to much on sprinkles of flavor. I should give it a second shot but make a request for not too much sprinkle. I ate two slices and had to call it a day. Sigh...
This is located in a mini HEB! Looks amazing. Friends claim it is one of the best pizza places in town.
There are areas for process improvement when it comes to ordering and receiving a pizza from here. We have come to this HEB three times now and each time we have ordered a pizza from South Flo. When we have ordered they give us a time estimate that always seems to be 25 to 30 minutes longer than what it actually takes to receive the pizza. When our names are called over the intercom to pick up our pizza, it is evident that the pizza has been sitting out for quite some time and is cold when we receive it. The gentleman who works there with glasses and who wasn't wearing his name badge today seemed frazzled and didn't seem to care to be there as he ignored us and then gave us an inflated time by half an hour for how long it would take to receive a pizza and then prioritized the phone over us.
This tiny market had some excellent choices for a quick shopping trip, near the Riverwalk. The aisles were tiny and the place was very crowded. The parking lot was smallish and nearly full. Prices were high, including gas. Deli foods and fruit were good and there was a good wine selection. There was no Blue Bell Ice Cream in the store!
