SOUTH Restaurant & Jazz Club

This place is amazing. First of all great ambiance and vibes. The decor is beautiful. The staff was wonderful. We couldn't get reservations but was able to sit at the bar with no wait. The good was so good here that we ate here twice while on vacation. The cornbread was my favorite then the mac & cheese. I also have the shrimp & grits and they were good. My husband had the fried chicken and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend and visit again

Made reservation online for the counter which allows us to watch the chefs in the kitchen. Wait staff was friendly and pleasant. We sat down right at 9:15, our reservation time. The jazz band had just step up to play so the atmosphere was buzzing. We ordered bar drinks and shared the shrimp and grits as an app. Very good. I got the catfish and shrimp and it was excellent. Food came out fast and hot. Will definitely recommend.

This place is an absolute gem! The atmosphere and ambiance is so beautiful. The food is to die for and it is very popular. I arrived a little bit after 8:00 p.m. and was seated shortly after. However, when I was leaving out, there was a large crowd of individuals waiting outside waiting to be seated as the weight grew and grew because of the popularity of this. Wonderful establishment!. I'll be back for some more of that fried catfish and macaroni !

Where do I even begin. . . Everything about this place was G R E A T from the ambiance, jazz show, staff, but most importantly the food! If I could have tried everything on the menu I would have. They did not disappoint! In order to attend the jazz show you must purchase tickets directly on the restaurants website. My family and I traveled a great distance and we will certainly return. Everyone enjoyed themselves and were talking about our experience the following day.

Our local friend booked a table for us weeks ahead and it indeed was worth it. The place has a really good vibe and service was excellent. One of the manager came to greet us for 3 times to make sure we were happy with our food and drinks in addition to our server. Food wise, crab toast, crab cakes, crab toast. Eat the crabs. Their boneless ribs are good too but eat the CRABS!

Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. Terri made our experience so phenomenal, we’d come back just for her. Will be making special trips just to eat here and have her as a server. Also the value for the amount of food you get, is fantastic! Definitely get the bread pudding!!

Man, what can I say ! Great southern food, great atmosphere! Amazing waitress! Perfect date night and make sure you get the full effect of the menu. We had the corn bread, and the mini crab cakes to start. Meals we had the fried chicken, yams and greens. Yams to die for ! Everything was great down to the drinks. The show was sold out but next time I come I’ll make sure to get a seat! Great place thanks

The cornbread was so good. We ate it before I could take a picture. The still water was refreshing. The jazz concert was enjoyable. We had the beef ribs, bbq chicken, and fried chicken. All 3 entrees were perfection. I almost forgot about the macaroni and cheese. The Mac deserves it’s own 5 stars.
