We love coming here for their sandwiches. This place was introduced to me a couple of years ago and I can't help but get my Garlic Roast Beef (pictured). The hot roast beef, the toasted bun and that Super Duper Garlic sauce is addicting! Though you can't go wrong with anything here including their pizza ( kids approved so it's a winner)! Next time I'll try to get a meatball and not my usual (good luck though, right?).

Nice, cozy and laid back. Unique menu of sandwich items on their homemade bun. Order " easy" on the sauce/condiments so you can actually taste the rest of ingredients. I wish they would have put more veggies on also. Too much sauce and not enough veggies, especially the hot peppers. The peppers are actually peppers an d not a sauce. The sandwich was delicious, nicely sized, and like I mentioned, they even offer Habaneros and Ghost Peppers! (For all you REAL PEPPER BELLIES out there....) It was my first time here, and I'm glad I decided on lunch here. Hours are limited, so call first, is my advice. The pricing was reasonable $-$$ also. This place is very Urban and Cool, nestled right inside King William district, which by itself is something uniquely splendid to behold. I had today the "Habanero Roast Beef" with a cold "Chai Tea". Come and visit the nice folks here, where they actually bring your food to you. You'll be glad you did. I am. - Mark Q.

Hadn't been in over three years and this place didn't miss a beat. Friendly service as always. Got the Southwest Corn Chowder and Station Reubenation. The turkey pastrami was so flavorful. I don't know what's in the sauce, but it's so good. Man, I've missed this place.

Visiting San Antonio for the day and looking for something fast and reasonably priced. I went here expecting to get a couple of slices of pizza and a beer. When I got there, I was pleasantly surprised by an extensive sandwich menu. I ordered the Jalapeño Roast Beef sandwich, a Greek salad and a soda. Beer was only available next door after 5 at The Filling Station. Turnaround was pretty quick. The salad on baby greens was very good but not as good as the sandwich. They're served on great rolls and was a decent portion for the price. I expected it to be hotter since it had 2 Jalapeños on the menu but it was pretty mild. It's a little bit off the more touristy area but it was worth walking a bit more. Oh, and they have great baked items for dessert. Stop by if you can.

awesome & eclectically decorated southtown deli shoppe with sandwiches that are the star of the show & excellent supporting characters in soups/salads. i tried the jalapeño turkey BLT that had a delectably spicy mayo that added a nice kick. also had the poblano queso soup that was nice, with my only critique being that it was a lil watery & needed more cheese and some garlic salt & pepper. still overall a great lunch in the king william southtown area! check out their bar next door

Ordered the jalapeño cilantro turkey sandwich and corn chowder soup. Both were amazing. Service was quick.

Excuse me, who told ya'll to close at 4 pm and leave me without dinner tonight. This is hands down THE BEST sandwich I have ever had in my life and the best thing I have eaten in San Antonio so far. The bread is amazing. I got the Turkey Pastrami, thinking the horseradish sauce would not be to my liking and got it on the side, with a side of mayo but I swear by this sauce. I even needed extra. The soft drink selection was small and the pasta salad was forgetful but the sandwiches are to die for. I hope I have time to get one before I leave, or just move to Dallas and I'll be a faithful regular for life. The pizza is good too but trust me get two different sandwiches and experience heaven. Bought one sandwich with pasta salad and a drink ($2.25) (sold separately I am afraid) and two slices of pizza and spent $20.

Not sure what happened to my original post, but I have time to post again. Wife had the station which she liked. I had the meatball, which I always tend to be optimistic when I order from a new place, but once you’ve had one meatball sub you’ve had them all. Overall sub was was ok. Now for the soup… if you see that little speck on the spoon… that’s actually chicken. The only piece of chicken I received in my chicken and vegetables soup. If I were to provide some input, I’d say maybe rename your Wednesday soup to “Vegetable with a speck of chicken” soup. Place was clean and liked the location.
