STK is a Great place to go to if you're in the mood to have prestigious foods! Great atmosphere, very romantic and also very relaxed. This location has a DJ and offers an amazing seating area with decorations that will leave you astonished. This is certainly the place to go to and ask for the Chef's Choice of foods! The foods here are truly a marvel, given that everything made has extreme flavor detail and beautiful presentation. The regional director has a great personality and is very friendly.
Ambiance and setting was great! Music by the DJ was great. Hosts were subpar considering the price of the restaurant. Host greeting and the person that seated us was mediocre and expect that at a local eatery type. Server was okay. Nothing special or above expectations (again, considering the dish prices). What sucked the most was that I got the sea bass and it made me sick. Part of it is my fault because I thought it was undercooked but doubted myself and didn’t say anything. The truffle fries were okay. We’ve had better at The Henry. The shrimp cocktail was overpriced for what it was. Nothing to it other than the presentation. Bread they brought to the table was AWESOME! May have been the best dish of the night… sadly. Expected more. Won’t be going back unless I had no other choice. Fasting is always a choice, though, I suppose.
STK brunches are always fun. It has a nice brunch menu selection, food is delicious and best part is the Bottoms up Mimosa or Bloody Mary! Staff is friendly and super patient, especially when you’ve been at the table close to 3 hours! Lol This review is actually long over due- I’ve had brunch here many times and I have to give the staff major props! One of the best places in LA for brunch.
I had an incredible time here last night. I eat around at all the steak houses across LA a lot and this place is top notch! We were absolutely impressed by everything the kitchen sent out. Everything was flavored beautifully! The portions are generous. We left completely stuffed. We had pickled prawns and the wagyu mini burgs to start, NY Strip, Chilean Sea Bass, Apsaragus, Mac n Cheese (a cheese lover's dream), the tots and then mini donuts and apple pie for dessert. Everything came out on time with beautiful presentation. Our server Chad was especially fantastic. One of the best servers. He was attentive and knowledgable.
We had Easter Brunch outdoor near the swimming pool. The weather was perfect and having the DJ spinning music while we ate was a nice touch. The eggs Benedict with lobster, Waygu steak, chicken and waffles, and burger was all cooked perfectly. I can see from the other reviews that take out wasn’t the best experience, but dining in is the way to go. The only complaint I have is my Bloody Mary took awhile when the other drinks were delivered to our table relatively quickly, and the entrees and desserts came out a bit slow. But since it was Easter Sunday, it was expected that service might be a bit slow. Good thing the weather was beautiful and the DJ was there to help pass the time. The waitress did make it special and put these nice sparkly candles on our dessert because we were celebrating a belated birthday. Will definitely give it another try and report back.
I had an absolutely amazing time and experience here. Our waitress, Marina was so very professional and kind. The food here was amazing and so were the drinks. Lovely ambience. Highly recommended!
Dined here for my boyfriend’s birthday. Important to know that there is a difference between outdoors and outside on the back patio. The outdoors location is across and up the stairs away from the restaurant. They also have a back patio that you must walk through the restaurant to get to. Parking is $20 for the first TWO HOURS with validation though Valet charged $22. It’s not about the $2, but it’s about the fact that you tried to finesse me out of your own tip when I would’ve tipped way more. We had a party of 9 and were in the back patio with two other large parties. Our server was very nice, funny and attentive before we got our food. Once we got our food we have to keep asking for to go containers, bags for the containers and asked for the bill four times (to the bussers) Despite all of that the food was delicious! I mean that corn pudding was * chefs kiss*. Also nearly everyone at the table ordered the drink “strawberry cobbler” which tasted like strawberry lemonade and was DANGEROUS OK?!! Drink it slowly if you’re driving because it doesn’t taste strong but it’ll get cha! The sides are to share but for like 2 people so we ordered a bunch of sides and shared them all: mashed potatoes, corn, asparagus, mac, creamed spinach
The food was really expensive but we know where we went. The worst part was when the waitress didn't told us that the ribeye we ordered was already ran out and she brought us another steak without telling us, a steak that was $110. For the steak, we order only a Truffle Butter sauce, but they put a second one that we didn't order. Moreover, I am very used to ear truffles, and the butter didn't have any flavor of that. At the end, she brought us the wrong bill, one that corresponded to other table, and even worst, she almost didn't want to correct that mistake, or even say sorry. We finished all the experience with a very bad feeling.
