If you've been to Michael's in Santa Monica, you'll recognize the vibe of Summer House. The service is excellent, attentive but not overly. The food was mostly great. My sandwich came in toast, that was very well done (the edges were burnt). Everything else was great, from the guacamole to the coconut cream pie, the flavors were fresh and delicious! Can't wait to go back.

The aesthetic of Summer House is definitely a big draw. Stylish decor and atmosphere. Good restaurant for a larger family/friends gathering. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Both the Shrimp Cocktail and Ahi Tuna Poke Nachos were delicious. I also loved the Spicy Rigatoni. The pasta portions were larger than I was expecting. Could definitely be shared with two people if you’re planning to order multiple appetizers!

Great lunch spot! You walk in and immediately smell truffle because of the piles of truffle fries everyone gets (highly recommend). Truly everything is delicious. The English muffins on the sandwiches were kind of weird, but other than that no complaints. Tuna tartar and shaved Brussels sprout salad were fab.

This place is always crowded so a reservation is a must. But a very popular place for lunch, brunch, or dinner because the vibe is amazing — they really play on the California vibe well with the light, bright, and coastal vibe. With an amazing food selection you cannot go wrong with anything you choose from the menu. The service was excellent and the bakery up front was just divine! Excited to go back!

A friend took me to lunch to celebrate my birthday. We both had the roasted pumpkin soup, which was rich and tasty but served almost room temperature. Also both ordered the Cobb salads, and they were large and loaded with fresh ingredients. This restaurant is known for its fresh baked monster cookies. There's usually a variety to choose from, and you can order them to go if you want. I'm picky when it comes to cookies, and I didn't care for the complimentary birthday one... too sweet and too chewy. The service was efficient, but we had at least four different servers in the 90 minutes we were there. It was packed for lunch, so probably best to make a reservation.

Such a cute brunch spot! The lighting in the center of the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great girl's day out spot. The food was good and came out pretty quickly even though they were busy which was really nice. I got the breakfast burrito which was good, a little egg heavy compared to the other things in the burrito but still good and paired well with the salsas. Would definitely recommend!

The place looks stunning and that’s the only positive it has going for it. You’re quickly greeted when entering and seated promptly after (if space is available). Our waiter was courteous and prompt to put in drink orders. The menu has a mix of pastas, salads, and American style food (burgers etc). They recently added a spinach dip that was bland and overpriced. The manager came to ask us about the dip and looked disappointed when we told him it was average (apparently it’s the best dip he’s had). The rest of our food followed suit and was bland and far over priced for the quality. Aside from the vibe, there is nothing special about this place. You’re better off going somewhere else!
