Chic destination for Southwestern fare. Inspired Southwestern eatery serving locally sourced fare & fine wines in chic digs at Éilan Hotel.
Went for their Saturday breakfast. Food was good, price a bit high (though typical for hotel restaurants), and service average. I had to remind my waitress that my meal selection came with potatoes. Finished over half the meal when they came out. The wait was at least worth the ask, as the were perfectly cooked. Dinged off the star since I had to wait for them, ask for coffee refills, & wait for the check. Waitress was nice & polite, just untimely. The restaurant itself was beautiful & clean. Update & dropped a star: inconsistent service & food. The service was a little better than yesterday, though no one came to greet us at the door after waiting a good while, so just walked in. This time I received an overcooked over medium egg. The potatoes were only about a third of yesterday’s serving & were also overcooked. Asked for crispy bacon, received one partially burnt, but actually received an extra slice. My sisters plate was only half eaten. Her bacon was almost all burnt and the scrambled eggs were overcooked with crusty edges & brown spots evenly on their bottom. I would not expect this at the cost per plate in a hotel. $12 each per these plates, plus tax. Coffee was $3.00.
The service was excellent and friendly. The meal was outstanding and worth every penny. But pricing is not for the faint hearted, but if you need a wonderful quiet date night with the one you love then this is definitely a top co tender. The wine menu is outstanding as well but the bar needed help. The only real reason they got 4 stars instead of 5.
Wow! Sustenio is breathtakingly beautiful! The exterior and interior is as delectable as the food, service, ambiance and setting. Nestled wonderfully in the Beautiful Eilan Hotel and Spa, this Fantastic Gem is truly delightful. The lighting is warm. Seating is comfortable. Tables spaced adequately. Excellent! There's nothing you won't love here. If you're seeking a romantic place, suitable for virtually any special occasion, gifted with ornate beauty.....do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Sustenio. Rating = 10
Let me first start with the service which was top notch, making my dining experience unforgettable from beginning to the end.. From the moment that we walked in, we we're both greeted with a true sense of Texas hospitality. This being my very first visit to the restaurant I wanted to try something uniquely different, something that I probably wouldn't eat at home while dining out (Seattle wa.) My waitress suggested that I try the shrimp and grits with gravy, grits nope was definitely my first answer. But after giving it some thought I changed my mind and believe me I was happy that I did. The rich bold favor of the gravy mixed with the smooth creamy texture of the grits, topped with smoked spicy shrimp...WOW, what a truly wonderful and amazing culinary experience...! I couldn't believe how good this really was and all thanks to my wonderful waitress..... Thank you so much Louisa suggestion and your great service.......!
Very disappointed in the quality of service and food. For the price, I expected excellence. Ordered a simple breakfast: scrambled eggs, crispy bacon (not burnt), biscuit and potatoes. I couldn't even eat all of it. 1st picture showing how my eggs were on bottom. 2nd view is what I couldn't eat. Waitress never came by while I was eating to see if I needed more water or anything else. Manger came by to get my plate after we ate. She never asked "how everything tasted?" You would think seeing my plate half eaten she would have asked. I don't recommend!
Staying at the Elon hotel, this restaurant is on the 3rd floor, one floor below the lobby. Everyone is very nice and the menu has many selections. On our first visit we had grilled chicken and rice with vegetables. It was very good. The second visit was pizza and it was not as good as expected. Planning on returning soon to try other items.
This place was amazing, waiters are polite the chef even came out to make sure we were ok and everything was good. The food was amazing definitely coming back
We found it to be a very uncomfortable dining experience. There was no host at the front and multiple employees walked by ignoring us. Through dinner people, I’m assuming managers, walked by our table and awkwardly asked us about the food. The service felt a lot more like a family friendly type place than the sophisticated casual experience it is marketed as. The queso was good but the pizza we had was very chewy and was comparable to the frozen ones we get at Tom Thumb. We had a piece of chocolate cake, the cake was very dry and the frosting was comparable to grocery store grab n go cakes.
