The food was palatable but I think that I was expecting better than what I got. Maybe it's the "after covid" expectation of many food service establishments. One thing for sure the one person that was in the establishment was very friendly and deserving of a complimentary gesture. The place is in good standing with the "best tacos" title let's hope that you can continue to hold that title in the future.

Do not waste your time or your money. The worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. I couldn't believe how the people running this place have such low standards. The place was very dirty. The food was disappointing and sad. The tortillas were shaped like the State of Texas. No pride in their presentation of the restaurant or the food. The lettuce was old and brown. The salsa tasted like watered down tomato sauce with black pepper and not spicy at all. Waitress didn't check on us or refill our drinks. When we paid, the lady charged $2.00 more per meal than the price on the menu for our plates and on top of that added $1.50 gratuity to each meal without even telling us. That's dishonest and stealing. Our party consisted of 3 adults and 1 teen. Please stay away from this place. You WILL be GREATLY DISAPPOINTED AND STOLEN FROM.

So, I was very excited of what was a recognized restaurant by Guy but I was charged 6.99 for 2 oz of cheese and about 6 whole chips. I ordered the Mexican plate with cold beans and enchiladas. So I made the decision to not eat here was told I was going to pay for food I didn't eat. So I charged it to the game. Paid 14.00 bucks for a tea. I've been in the restaurant biz for 12 years. So disappointing. But I'll count it as a tip. Bless your crew.

I came here with friends and we waited a while to order. There were only two employees in the store and the Waitresses were both cooking and serving. Don’t get me wrong I totally understand how it is to be short staffed. When it’s finally time to order there was no menudo and I believe she said that she wouldn’t serve the award-winning taco until 12 PM and I said that was fine so I ordered a Barbacoa plate instead. I thought that was a Karen who wrote that the meat was scarce on her review but she ended up being correct. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. The tortillas were not even round. The potatoes and the beans were good I’ll give them that. When it was time to pay I found out that my plate that was supposed to be $8.99 was actually $10.99. They also charge me $1.50 gratuity for each plate on top of the order when it was only three adults and one child. We were not Made aware of the gratuity or the price changes at all. Until AFTER I paid and saw the price was wrong. I didn’t see those prices on the menu nor did it say $1.50 gratuity charge I still paid it but I won’t be coming back after this. One last thing this place is very dirty there were a couple of dirty tables next to us and they were dirty the whole time we ate. We ended up having to come back after my friend forgot something at the restaurant and the table we were at still had our dishes on there.

Very good coffee! Helen is amazing! She makes incredible tortillas, right in front of us, while telling us the TACO TACO CAFE story. It was just superb! we'll be back!

Went with my mom and sister Helen was so nice she runs the show by herself. Noone showed up to help her work and the food was good I'd definitely go back just to see her smiling face. Keep up the good work Helen you are truly blessed stay positive.

Wow. What an amazing Nortena Taco. I was curious why a place reviewed by Guy Fieri does not have higher reviews. This place is managed by a couple of cute elderly ladies probably not very tech savvy on social media which may explain the low reviews. I recommend this place. Must try. I had the beef nortena taco on their home made flour tortilla and it was amazing.

The food was excellent and the lady working (I’m assuming the owner) was wonderful and attentive. She works so hard and made sure we all had everything we needed with a smile! We got breakfast and left full and satisfied! Thank you and we will be back for sure! Maybe tomorrow!! Lol.
