Tacos Chiwas

This is by far the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. We got an assortment of tacos and each was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. They were light and delicious. Definitely order a few! There was also three different kinds of salsa- a creamy green salsa, a roasted red and a roasted green. Nothing too spicy and absolutely amazing. I'm not going to buy tacos anywhere else again. Why waste your time or money??? Go to Tacos Chiwas!!

Excellent tacos! Asada and Birria are probably the best choices on the menu. We also had their beans and meat soup and that was delicious as well. Highly recommended if you are in town and looking for some authentic Mexican food

Sooooooo yummy! I am obsessed with the shrimp tacos here, no where else compares. They make their own tortillas and all the ingredients are fresh. The in-house salsas are a 10/10. Last but not least they have the best watermelon margarita I’ve ever had.

Food was good overall. The burrito was a bit over priced for just bean and cheese inside for $6.00. Street tacos are priced each and just under 3 bucks each. Full of meat. Great flavor. Fair price. Not crazy busy on a Saturday.

Absolutely loved the food, authentic, flavorful and just right! Had to try the horchata everyone talks about, it was creamy unlike other places where it tastes watered down. The gorditas with shredded beef in red salsa were the perfect amount of spicy where it hurts to keep going but you cannot stop! The shrimp tacos are very good too (each bite has a shrimp!) Lastly, the quesadillas are very cheesy and nicely toasted, the frijoles charros taste fresh and seasoned.

Good taco place, the meats and salsas are good but the tortillas definitely need some work. Most places either make them in store or have a better quality. The pictures from previous years show something a bit different.

Very tasty delicious tacos! Actually the quesadilla, corn in a cup and desebrada burrito were delicious too! Good Mango margarita cute spot! Very much recommend

I’m a big fan of the Original Taco Chiwas location, this location is disappointing. Why? ? Quality of Food ?? Service ? Value ? Ambiance The chicken tacos ? & burritos ? are dry, lacking flavor, and just underwhelming. The al pastor tacos ? and quesadillas are extremely greasy compared to the original location. On the positive side, the physical location is much bigger than the original one plus it has a bar. Speaking about the bar, the service was lacking. I ordered three alcoholic drinks and we watched them just site at the bar for 20minutes, no one bothers to serve us, I went and got them myself. Very dissatisfied with the service. It’s very expensive for this caliber of food. I spent over $120+ on food and felt hungry. Overall, save your money and go to another establishment.
