Yesterday was my first time downtown and I was looking for a laid back place to just eat and listen to music. With the help of a person walking downtown he lead us here. The staff is really nice the Music was good R n B style.. It definitely is laid back? I am not a beer drinker so I was happy so find wine on tap never had that I tried the Sabina Rose Kind of a dry yet semi sweet wine. We ordered the Spicy chicken pasta.. House Wings and Truffle Fries the presentation is beautiful however it was bland no flavor the chicken was moiste however but the spice was just red flakes it was just as titled basically. House wings are good a little salty for my taste but the Fries were good as well both were a little salty for me but to someone else it wouldn't be ( I just eat with salt). Overall this a good low key place to go love the concept.. Tap that you tap a fob to pour your own drink and your cost is based on your pour. The only thing i was uncomfortable with is them holding my card the entire time. I assume it's so that people are forced to return their fob to get the card back I get that just uncomfortable.
Such a cool space. Great decor and layout. Plenty of seating and not crowded. I hear First Fridays are crazy but we had the place to ourselves on an early Monday afternoon. I was judgemental and didn't have high expectations for the food... but it was all amazing! We tried a lot: bbq chicken Flatbread, Korean BBQ pork sandwich, beef nachos, pretzel board, beignets, and best of all... the Bleu cheese and bacon sweet potato fries. So good that we ordered another round of them! Pouring your own drinks and getting to try a variety of always fun. In case you don't know how it works: leave your credit card with the waitress, get a handheld fob and scan whatever drink on tap that you want to try. You are only charged what you pour so it's a fun way to sample. They had many beers, couple sours, and a few wines. I definitely will be back and would love to bar hop other nearby stops
We had a small group of family and friends gather there. We all had a good time. The tap house design is very spacious yet cozy. They also have nice board game selections for you to play while enjoying the beers. The snacks were very good as well. Looking forward to stop by again.
Real fun place to hang out with friends or a great dates night location. Very clean and lots of little secret spots. I highly recommend checking out this location during first Friday or during the weekend.
Went on NFL Sunday, quiet evening! Amazing beer selection.Loved the decor. Chicken wings weren’t cooked enough. Pink/slimy inside. My husband and I will return.
Fun atmosphere. Different concept to beer being "on tap". Decent food. Definitely a college hang out as the night progresses. Good place to hang out, just noisy once it starts to fill up. Not a bad thing for a place like this.
My husband and I dined here after an evening out and we were both pleasantly surprised. He had a bacon cheeseburger and fries, his only complaint was the ridiculously small amount of fries that were on his plate. I ordered the pretzel board and it was so good, nothing fancy but the pretzel was so good. My only complaint was we were not immediately greeted and so we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or order at the counter, or what we were supposed to do. I'm not sure I would go back since we're not drinkers but the concept of this place is cool, if you like to drink and taste multiple different beers/wine.
This place sways between 3 and 4 stars. The vibe is awesome. The beer tends to pour with a lot of head, especially with the hefe, which is not good when you pay by the oz. The food is good; but nothing to write home about. Best parts of the dishes we tried were the spicy mustard and marinated olives on the pretzel board. The wings were good and a decent portion. The Korean BBQ sandwich and poutine were alright. That said, we will definitely be going back to try more drafts but will likely not order food.
