I came to the area for another spot but walked in here. I saw a sign outside that said "Vegan" options! They actually season it to taste yummy! The girl who took my order was a sweetheart & took excellent care of me from the moment I walked in. I love a fresh, warm, homemade tortilla! My Mexican family knows I adore them, they stole my heart with that alone ? You'll enjoy their food & the ambiance of the place is amazing! I got the "2" optioned bowl (both the vegan beefs; I like the ground one better though ?)
Enjoyed our meals. Great drink list, too. Grateful for vegan choices. But I didn't really understand all the menu options. Will definitely return for the two entree bowl with delicious Birria and Deshebrada.
Flavors are absolutely phenomenal! Family friendly. The Pinole drink is so yummy. Their cocktails are made very well. Highly recommend. Any burrito order can be made into a bowl no rice needed when you have home made tortillas, beans or potatoes that accompany the meal.
Food was so good. I ordered the shredded beef, ground beef, and pork tacos and they had so much flavor. Their green sauce was good and had the right kick to it. Their aqua fresca was good. I would recommend.
Excellent and authentic! The flour tortillas are a good size and each burrito was very filling. The green chili shredded beef and the chile relleno are the best! Their Birria tacos are a must and the atmosphere is very inviting. They have music and events going on for First Friday's so make sure to stop by!
Based on the reviews, I decided to stop and give this place a try- it did not disappoint! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and salsas, and great alcoholic drink selection! Their mixed drinks are a bit pricey, so I had a micro beer that was on tap. If you’re in the area and want authentic Mexican food, give this business a try! Support small businesses, please.
I asked for three vegan tacos & this is what I got. It seems like they just threw together potatoes & beans and onions & peppers to make it vegan. They need to upgrade there vegan options or just not have any at all. They tasted how they look. The chia lemonade was good though!
I was a bit hesitant to try the Agua de Cebada. The young woman compared it to horchata (which I love), but with a slightly different flavor, (main Ingredients are corn/wheat and oat milk). I was pleasantly surprised—it was actually pretty good. I was looking forward to a couple of dishes on the menu, but was informed they were only serving burritos at this time—I got the deshebrada burrito. I have to say, it was one of the best burritos I’ve had. They served it with red and green salsa and the red was insanely spicy but so good. This place also has a boutique: offering goods, like clothing and artifacts. I will be coming back and can’t wait to try variations on the menu. Wonderful service. I loved how everyone greeted everyone in Spanish and how they played actual Mexican music. Thank you!
