Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The service was pretty good too. It was bit crowded and had some wait time for walking in. So would recommend reserving in advance if possible. The food was great too but a little costly compared to its quality. Had great options on drinks too and cocktails were also available.

The food was excellent, particularly the lamb vindaloo which was ordered medium hot. The service was oddly off. The employees were friendly, but distracted by the World Cup game on the television. Mango lassi was delicious. I dined here on a weeknight during Thanksgiving week, November 2022. Thanal Indian Tavern first caught my eye in 2019 with its attractive exterior and I was happy to finally eat here.

Food is tasty, they are maintaining the same taste. I had a lunch before Covid pandemic. Still taste is same, we loved it. Biryani, naan, chukka, makhani everything good. Wings is not up to the mark, nothing special in it. Service, atmosphere are excellent!! Only challenge is finding public parking nearby.

This was my first time going to an Indian restaurant and I have to say the dishes were excellent and full of flavor and well proportions. I’ll be definitely returning to this place I was so full I needed help getting up from the table bad enough I needed leverage on the table ?……. Excellent place to eat !

We had a lovely dinner experience on a weeknight! The food was fresh and tasty and the portions generous. The boneless fish curry was very flavorful and the lamb saag is always one of our favorite dishes here. All the food came out quickly, the service was very friendly. Highly recommend!

This was one of my favorites Indian restaurants from the day it opened. Unfortunately, things are not the same some of the recipes are changed along with the customer service. I do still love their biryani fortunately it still tastes great and same as before.

Had a great time at Thanal! It was nice to see a full service bar available, even though I received a beer a far cry away from the expected IPA I ordered. The cheese Naan was delicious and the chicken vindaloo excellent. The interior could be spruced up a bit (walls had stains, etc) but it was a solid experience overall and would return.

My sister dragged me to this spot on a rainy sunday! Customer service, Food,Drinks and the atmosphere.. Everything was amazing and mind blowing! Best Indian food I ever had. Chef kiss ?
