Familiar eats in a relaxed venue. Roadside outfit dishing up a selection of staples in an easygoing environment.
Please read at it all before going to restaurant. I been meaning to write this as I always look forward to positive first time moments. I will say the presentation of food was great! However the service slacked a little. But over all the gentleman who helped us did not like me for some reason after I asked if he can pour me more tea. I kept asking him also where are my grits after 4 times. Never got them out to me. The table across us got their grits but they sent it back as it was watered down. They forgot my partners syrup which resulted to cold waffles and also the strips arrived like catfish. Gross! Speaking of temperature, my fruit was so hot it tasted nasty. So the guy never showed up to table with our ticket until I went to the bathroom then he went to the table with my ticket never had apologize to me acknowledge my presence which is very disrespectful. Not sure if I would recommend this place to anyone or we will be going back. Best time to go if you do is after 1230 or 1pm
Shut the front door!!!! Was my first time here at the Broken Egg Café. Oh what a treat! Was a little worried when I first walked in when I saw a wait line. But it was worth the wait! Fresh ingredients and served hot. Pancakes biscuits and coffee are some of the best in town. Stop by this place and you won’t be let down. Love these small businesses.
We were in the mood for a dine in breakfast spot and gave this place a try. Very charming and home style feel inside. Wonderful service and food came out hot and very timely. Chicken and waffles were fantastic. Coffee tasted flavorful and getting a refill was easy as our server was very attentive. If you want a good meal please give them a try. The menu is everything you would want for a great breakfast.
Waitstaff was helpful and attentive to our party of 10. There are signs up regarding the shortage of staff, so service was slow. My skillet was good, the waffle could have used more flavor. Pricepoint and portions are very good.
The corn beef hash was delicious. There are so many great options here, from breakfast tacos to waffles to omelettes. The server was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The cashier was funny and friendly. This is a great breakfast spot with plenty of parking.
I had the corned beef hash with two over easy eggs! It was delicious! The restaurant was clean and service was good but a bit slow. The only reason we did not give 5 stars was that we asked for refills and never got them. In fairness they have up signs saying they are short staffed. But we will definatly be back!
Cute little hole in the wall. It’s nice to have good ol’ homemade American ?? food instead of TexMex. The coffee was the perfect blend and bonus that they have flavored creamer. The stuff French toast was on moist crisp toast. It filled our guilty pleasures. The fruit was ripe and cut to bite size. Yet, it was freezing cold. Almost too cold to eat. I had to get a blanket from the vehicle to cover up.
Would highly recommend not wasting your time going here. We were seated and took 15 minutes to get water brought to us. All we got was biscuits and gravy (not sausage gravy even tho the lady told us it was) and an omelet. Took an hour to get our food. We watched a couple get sat after us, got their food, ate, and left and we still hadn’t gotten our food. I asked for gas browns instead of the potatos and didn’t get them. Bacon was cold. I would have asked to have my correct side and new bacon brought over, but once we got our food the waitress never came back. The lady that brought our bacon over gave a rude look and rolled her eyes at us. Some of the worst service I’ve ever received and definitely not very good food. Omelet looked like it was half cooked eggs just thrown in with a bunch of random veggies. Would recommend going anywhere else but here.
