It was my first time eating here and the experience was amazing!! Our server Gwen was outstanding! The food and service did not disappoint one bit. I will definitely be back here and bringing my family with me this time ?
Found this gem while visiting San Antonio and didn’t want to eat at the river walk. We wanted something different and love ramen so decided to try it. When I tell you this place is delicious I mean it! Food was exceptional!!! Our waiter Robert was so friendly and funny he really helped make the experience even better. I recommend this place and will definitely be back when we are back in San Antonio.
My friends and I had an event to go to at the Alamodome and noticed this ramen spot. We decided to eat here before the show and we were pleasantly surprised! We came a little before opening but we were seated and taken care of immediately! Shoutout to Gwen for providing excellent service and for recommending delicious food items! We started out with a few appetizers: chicken yakitori, kushishitake, kushikatsu, and gyoza. The yakitori was good, the sauce really brightened the chicken up in terms of flavor. The gyoza was appropriately chewy and had a but of crunch from the pan fried side. The kushikatsu was cooked to a perfect crisp, meaty fans would love this. The star appetizer to me was the kushishitake! I normally don't care for mushrooms but these were marinated in some kind of sweet soy sauce and it was incredibly tasty! It was also perfectly deep fried and has an incredible spicy mayo sauce to add more flavor! We were also given roasted edamame which had excellent char and a bit of saltiness! For my main dish, I ordered the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly! It also had more of those delicious mushrooms! The eggs were marinated and softboiled with a creamy yolk. A strong ramen and I recommend it if you come here! Our experience at Cherrity Bar was an absolute pleasure! I would love to come back here again if only for those mushrooms! Good food, good service! This place deserves your business!
A wonderful restaurant with a wonderful mission, *really* really good food, and kind staff (shout out to our server Eric). We sampled most of the small plates and particularly enjoyed the fried shiitake and braised oyster mushrooms. This is now on my list of places to bring people for good food in SATX.
You HAVE to try the charred edamame, so so so good. All of the food is always excellent, and the cocktails are some of the best I’ve had. Also super cool how they donate some of the proceeds of certain cocktails to charity (hence the restaurant name).
AMAZING FOOD. INCREDIBLE ATMOSPHERE. VERY KIND STAFF! My boyfriend and I found this spot from google and we are SO glad. This place was so fun and cute. We loved every aspect of the Cherrity Bar! We started off with complementary edamame because it was our first time. We had an incredible server- Eric, who walked us through the menu and took great care of us during our visit. We played some card games that they had out while we waited for our food-which was incredible. After we ate and paid, we walked outside and explored their patio. They had lots of outdoor seating, a mini arcade, and other outdoor games to enjoy. This is a spot we will be returning and bringing our friends to in the future. Thank you Cherrity Bar for such a fun evening!
Food was delicious! Yakisoba with pork is amazing. They even have house made soda. I got the cucumber one, must try!! Love this cute little spot. Service was amazing Robert was the best!
I saw this restaurant on Elder eats and my wife and I decided to try it. The food was good but not great. The drinks were decent the waiter Ray was excellent probably would not return back to this restaurant. I’ve had better Ramen here in San Antonio.
