American food in a former firehouse. Once a firehouse, this stylish eatery serves traditional American fare & cocktails.
The food was delicious and cooked perfect. Only downside, the waiter was really in a rush. We didn't finish the main course and got asked for dessert. When we were eating dessert we got the check already. Then we still had some wine in our bottle and we got asked three time if we went to sit at the bar. No go for a place to rush customer when they are about to finish.
Simply outstanding. From the warm greetings by the hosts at the front door, to the restaurant manager, everyone provided fantastic service. Our waiter Noel gave us some great recommendations regarding our appetizer and dessert. We ordered the Firehouse Executive Dinner for Two which provided several courses including dessert and enjoyed every bit of it! The building itself is beautiful. It is very much a restaurant but you clearly see the history of the Firehouse. This restaurant has been added to my list of places to visit again. I can't wait to see if the Lobster Bisque becomes available in the refrigerated area of Whole Foods or Mariano!?
Get the ricotta knots. Amazing. Steak was perfect. Crusty. Mac and cheese was gooey and creamy. If I didn’t live in Cincinnati I’d eat here daily. Keith was our waiter and he was fantastic. Service that took care of my wife and I as if we were his family. Thank you sir!
The food and the experience was by far above what we would expect from a fine restaurant. I mentioned that it was my wife's birthday and they met our accommodations to sit by the window. The hostess and all of the servers were great people to talk with. They went out of their way to wish my wife a happy birthday when they really didn't need to. Our waitress was really good and knew the menu well. Since we've never been here before our waitress recommended and bwe chose to go with their CHF executive which was a meal for two that came with several of the items on the menu that they were known for. Every dish was a five-star rating to me and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back
My family and I came here for restaurant week. The greeting upon entry, to being seated, our waitress to the Manager/General Manager, Shannon. When I say that this was not only a impecable dining experience but the customer service across the board is unmatched. Shannon engaged with us, took our suggestions into consideration, she made sure we had a great experience. The chef floored me with the salmon and his signature dessert which I HIGHLY recommend and I’m not even a coconut lover but his pie is divine.
Very good restaurant. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed the meal and service very much. We were able to be seated in the solarium and it was lovely. Would recommend.
Upscale restaurant in the old firehouse. Focus is on food and classy service at the restaurant, especially with the immaculately suited waiters providing timely assistance. The lobster bisque is indeed a worth signature, and the mushroom and Camembert tart delivers a tasty bite. Steaks are decent - I liked the bit of char on crust. Desserts were classics, I wish they actually flambéed the dessert tableside as described in the menu.
Loved this place! Staff was amazing and went above and beyond. All menu recommendations hit the spot and we loved everything! My absolute favs were Wild Mushroom Tart, Crab Cake and Tuna salad. Unique experience dining in a historical building that used to be a function fire station! Def 10 out of 10!
