We brought my mother in law for a bite to eat here on the establishment. It had two names for the restaurant "papa's burgers" and "The Good News". We didn't know which door to walk in. It's the same place and doesn't matter which door you walk in. The parking lot is rough. It's not completely paved and has caliche pavement. The place in side in nice, but it was a little humid. For payment they except Cash App and have an ATM. NOW TO THE FOOD! My mother in law had a veggie burger and it was okay. Nothing impressive. I had the regular burger and it was food. The bread was thick and soft. The fries were thick as well. My wife and son enjoyed there meal as well. Drinks. You can refill your beverage. Soda or water. I think they had tea. I'm not sure. Overall it's a nice place. ?

We headed here for burger week to try out the El Caliente burger. The price was great as well as the size of the burger. I was disappointed however, there was very little jalapeños and onion. I never got a spicy bite. The burgers were juicy but lacking in flavor. The tots were amazing, the seasoning they put on them was great! The staff wasn't rude but wasn't very welcoming either. Overall, sadly to say, it was a mediocre experience.

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the #2. A little pricy, but what isn’t today? The burger was fresh and hot. The fries were crispy and seasoned. The burger comes with fresh cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. You add your own mustard, ketchup and mayo. The burger was good. The bun had a sweetness to it that some may like. Others not. Interesting with ok flavor. Fountain drinks with free refills. They even have Hawaiian punch! Note: this is a cash only business. However, they do have a no charge atm.

What a great Yelp find! I love mom & pop restaurants. We came for a very late lunch so it wasn't busy. The woman at the counter was very friendly & helpful. We got the Original & the bacon cheese burger with fries. It took about 15minutes to get our food which is pretty fast for a 1/3# burger w lots of toppings. They were delivered hot to our table with a smile. Both burgers were outstanding. Thet came on a homemade bakery style bun that was toasted to perfection. The bacon was just a little less than crisp (perfect in our book). Jalapeños were the right spice & the tomatoes were very crisp & fresh. The only down side is that I added avocados, so I expected it to come with avocado slices. Instead it came with a light layer of avocado smash. For someone who LOVES avocado, that was a bit disappointing. The fries more than made up for that though. Big, fat, hot crispy crinkle fries with a dusting of salt & pepper. Sooo good! My only other disappointment was that they didn't have diet coke, just coke & Dr Pepper. The small disappointments are greatly outweighed by the highlights of the place. I highly recommend it & will definitely go back for more! Edit: I forgot to mention that they are cash only. Luckily we had just enough on us that day.

Real good. Bun are nice and toasted. Bacon was crispy. Patties had good taste. Crinkled fries were real good.

Very friendly staff. The food menu has a large variety of items including homemade ice cream, fish sandwiches, chicken etc. A place for kids and adults. Indoor or outdoor eating. Get your hamburger on! Thanks we will be back. Yum

Flavor: A Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A The bad news is it's "cash only" but the 'good news' is that there's an fee-free ATM or you can pay with Venmo or Cash app. Basically anything but credit cards - so you don't have to come prepared. Speaking of prepared, the burger is prepared downright perfectly - juicy flavorful patty with a pillowy delicious bun. Tots were overcooked for my taste and the ranch is in a packet. But other than that, everything was impressive. You should be warned that the parking lot is designed for Chevy Spark-sized vehicles and unless there's a spot in the half closest to the street I'd turn around and visit another day.

This place is probably one of the best burger places I've ever been. The bun is amazing. Sweet and soft and moist. The meat is grilled, the jalapeños are grilled too! This place is a must if you are close by!
