This place is wonderful. From friendly greetings right when you enter to the servers and farewells. We had came with a reservation and had a very short wait. Here to celebrate our anniversary they were all very sweet congratulating us all throughout our meal. The restaurant itself had very aesthetically pleasing decor and was very clean. The food was the best part! Food was fantastic. I’m from the south, and those hush puppies were excellent! The pancakes, the candied bacon, and the shrimp and grits were so delicious. We loved the vanilla lattes as well! It wasn’t strong enough, but the flavor was very creamy and enjoyable. We were already planning on returning and setting up some brunch dates with our friends. Overall, we had a great experience with Instagram worthy food pics and a spectacular memory.

Pleasant place with quality service. They have straw chairs outside that reminded me of France. Very good to stay out when the weather allows you. The inside is very pretty, but a sunny Saturday outside is unbeatable. I had fried green tomatoes with thick stripes of bacon and a risotto. It was delicious. My friends were very happy with the fried chicken. Although it was so much they couldn't eat it all. I could have drinks, but the espresso was a nice touch to finish my meal.

We went to the Love based on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. We were about 10 minutes early for our reservation and were seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable and answered our questions easily about the menu. The staff was attentive and our water glasses never went empty. The food was amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked and came out hot. The food was timed well and we did not feel rushed. The two mixed drinks were excellent and my husband was pleasantly surprised that Miller Hi Life was available and paired it with The Lovebird (fried chicken). The cucumber feta salad was refreshing. The cheese board was bountiful. We will be back!

This place is wonderful date spot, whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, there's not a dish that won't disappoint. That said, I'm a traditional meat and potatoes kind of guy who wanted to make sure his girlfriend had a wonderful surprise, the Love didn't disappoint. It's earthy mushroom risotto was on a whole different level, the grits cooked perfectly, the biscuits and gravy done perfectly and the leek soup was phenomenal. It's menu may not attract most average Joe's, but if you're looking for a fancy, fun and delicious place where service can't be beat, check out The Love.

Very good. Recommend reservations as there is a line in the morning shortly before opening. The grits were incredible as was everything else. Do splurge on the blueberry scones or another appetizer. The staff is very accommodating and the restaurant has a very comfortable setting. Small tip- I recommend getting the tap water instead of bottled water. It tasted just as great, and will save a few dollars.

We had brunch here with friends. The atmosphere was good. Service was okay. Food was okay. Shrimp grits was good. Leek and Dutch Gouda omelette was interesting (in a neutral but not good way). Sriracha bacon was a huge disappointment. Fried green was inedible for me, but my fiends thought it’s okay. Pancake was decent. Love the cherry sauce coming with it. I would summarize my brunch experience as “try the shrimp grits, and that’s it”.

Came here for a Valentine’s Day lunch with my husband and it did not disappoint! The Parker House Rolls with the chive butter were absolutely incredible, and my burger was perfectly cooked. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend The Love. for a date as the seating is very intimate!

We were in town for the Rheumatology conference from Pittsburgh a few weeks ago. The restaurant is a gorgeous little place perfect for a nice date night. We loved the decor and the ambiance but most importantly, the food was OUTSTANDING! The cornbread app and pumpkin risotto were amazing, I have dreams about them! Please order a couple appetizers, you won't be disappointed. The pork chop was perfectly done and garnished....so much I could say, just look at our photos. Don't pass up on The Love when in Center City.
