Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Chicago. The food is absolutely amazing. The burger was our favorite, it was so good that I had to remind myself to breathe about halfway through devouring it. It was so juicy. ? I would and have recommend this burger to pretty much everyone I know.

The Loyalist is my absolute favorite place in the city. The ambiance mixed with the great customer service. The Food....where do I start, the burger is hands down the best in the state (pics attached). Couple this with a loyalist old fashion and you have one of the best meals anywhere. All burgers are not created equal and this one stands above the rest. The real reason this is my favorite restaurant is that one of the managers stays in some of the freshest kicks and is a sneakerhead like me.

Delicious burgers, we had the Loyalist Original and the Classic. Both were delicious, but I thought the Classic was better than the one they're famous for: the Loyalist. Great experience, cool staff, nice beers on menu.

What amazing burgers. We couldn’t decide which one to get so we shared both and they were truly memorable. As were the eclairs as were the deviled eggs!!! Definitely one of the top meals I’ve had in Chicago and I can’t wait to go back !

Hats down, one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Never had such delicious mussels outside of Belgium. The food was perfectly cooked and the staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend anybody to come and indulge in all the dishes they offer. The only negative comments i have is regarding their glasses for beer i feel in such upscale place needs to know how to serve each type of beer amd the price of the wine per glass was way too expensive!

Lovely setting (inside and outside patio). The patio is by the train, so you can hear it passing often, which I love - city life! But it is loud enough to stop conversation each time is passed, so for a date, I’d say sit inside. If you prefer or like non-alcoholic, there isn’t an option on the drink menu - but ask the bar tender. They made me the most delicious sweet/sour fruit mock-tail that I will now be chasing. Eclair is not photogenic, but it is delicious!!! Definite order one of each (at least!) for an appetizer. The tomato salad was good, fresh, but I wasn’t overly impressed by it. The tomatoes were fresh from the farm, in peak season, but if it weren’t for that, I don’t think, I would recommend with all the other choices. Oysters are fresh, delicious, simple, just perfect and come in a cute oversized fish can from Spain. We debated between the oysters or muscles - which sound delicious, but opted for the oysters as we anticipated a heavy dinner. Burger - we heard this was the best burger, and by many counts it was! The house temperature was supposed to be between medium and rare, but I would say it was medium to medium/well. This didn’t bother me, but just an FYI if you like your burger bloody, this may not be the place. The flavors were fantastic - great ratio of cheese/pickles/onions/sauces!! The bun just didn’t pair well. It feels like a grocery store sesame seed bun. It didn’t hold up well to that size of burger with all the toppings and downgraded the eating experience in my opinion. However, still highly recommend. Fries were perfect - I’m between shoe string and steak. Perfectly crispy. The hot chili oil sauce was not hot at all - not much flavor, but I tend to like my fries plain. Definitely recommend!!

What a awesome restaurant. Well renowned for their burger, which lived up to the hype, they do have other fantastic plates. The tartare was amazing! While we had the burger (& pretty much everyone in the restaurant was like minded) we can’t wait to come back & try everything else!

Finally made it to this establishment to see why this place was voted one of the best burgers in the US, I went with a few friends they ordered appetizers I didn't one had deviled eggs which he said were outstanding. 2 of them ordered mussels which they said were amazing, as for me I wanted to try the Loyalist burger which was but to be voted one of the best burgers in the US yeah no not at all I've had better. They gave you sides so you can either dip your fries or an oil to add on to your burger I just kept on dipping the fries on the oil and I think the other side was mayo mixed with ketchup I think both sides were great. Afterwards I believe the manager came by and handed us some chocolate chip cookies as desert we got one big cookie in a aluminum foil bag, the cookie was amazing nice big size which I enjoyed all of my friends that I went with they enjoyed the cookie they said that it was an outstanding cookie. But yeah the Loyalist burger was not bad it was decent would I go back again yeah sure why not I would take other friends there just for them to try the burger.
