The Mexicano

This place is awesome! The food is excellent, super tasty and the presentation is on point. The nachos are super delicious, just the right balance of all the ingredients. We also had the Lamb Loin Lava Rock Fajitas and they did not disappoint. The Margarita are right up there with the best. The atmosphere is inviting and trendy. We sat at the bar and the bar chairs will make you stay there longer than you planned to. Highly recommend this place for some amazing Mexican food and drinks.

Wife and I took advantage of restaurant week in Arizona this past week. The Mexicano had a set menu during that time that featured some amazing dishes. The food was delicious and so was the atmosphere. They have great daily happy hour specials from 11-6 pm. Our server was Bradley and he made sure to take care of us during our time there. Not to mention, Domenic V. (Guest relations manager) stopped at our table to make sure our experience was a positive one, which is was. We’ll definitely be coming back for our next date night.

What a fun place! We joined the Mexicano for Happy Hour and dinner. Very attentive staff. Street tacos were amazing. Atmosphere is lively. The patio is perfect for afternoon and evening dining. A great spot for Mexican food fans in Scottsdale.

My wife and I enjoyed Happy Hour at The Mexicano on my birthday, and I gotta say it's my new favorite. It runs from 4-6 Monday through Friday they offer $5.00 classico margaritas and well drinks, a selection of $2.00 tacos, and my favorite their "Bottle and Board" for $19.00 you get selection of 5 tacos and a 32 oz carafe of classic margaritas. The food is great the decor and staff are amazing the place was packed on a Wednesday and they have fire dancers, a margarita bar and a great patio which us beautiful at night. We can't wait to go back and try some more of Chef Joey's cuisine. Give them a try. You will be glad you did!

Great restaurant with fantastic food and a vibrant atmosphere. Fabulous staff that took care of us from the moment we sat down till we left. The food came out so quickly and was so tasty. Great flavors and more than enough that you left feeling full. Nice upbeat feel with a DJ playing music and all the colorful pinatas all over the place. Definitely a spot to keep coming back for a great meal....

The patio is incredible! The misters are fantastic. A great variety of food. I wanted to try all the taco flavors but I only had room for 3. I found the pork to be a little on the dry side. We got the bill and we were surprised that the classic margarita was on for only $5 - we were a little disappointed that our server didn't mention this, we would have ordered more.

Great atmosphere, live DJ spinning upbeat music. The salsas was amazing. The food was good. Nice clean place. Service was okay, the staff was not friendly at all. From the hostess to our server. The tableware was really nice though. Day of the dead theme. They have cloth napkins with buttonholes! This is something you don’t see too often, attention to detail for its customers with button shirts. This was a nice touch.

I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant! The vibe, the service, the food it's all amazing! They have a great patio but the inside is fun as well! We ordered the surf and turf lava rock carne asada/shrimp and it was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and very nice and the manager made it a point to come over and meet with us during the meal to make sure we were happy. There was a great DJ when we went on Thursday evening which set a great tone for the experience. If you're into it, try the custom margarita bar, it's super fun. We'll defiantly be going back
