Upscale steakhouse chain founded in 1926. Storied chain serving high-end steakhouse fare, seafood & diverse wines in clubby surrounds.
Service was great, they really did try to keep us pleased. I'll be factual: 6lb lobster was perfectly cooked, well worth it. The 8lb lobster was huge, so huge in fact some parts in the classes didn't fully cook. Also sure to the size, our helper really struggled to crack the shell. So much so that she left a decent chunk on the floor. Large prime rib was cut into 6 pieces and very good, medium rare in most sections. Again, hard to control temperature in such thick slabs as we cut into sections rare enough to moo! We didn't mind, just what happened.
Best steakhouse I’ve had in a long time! Coming from Texas this was 10/10. Got the surf and turf. I usually always eat seafood but I wanted to try some steak! Great customer service as well! Definitely recommend
Amazing place to go when visiting the downtown LA area. Decided to get the center cut fillet and couldn’t be happier. I got the 8 ounce one instead of the bigger one with a side of mushrooms and mashed potatoes and it was the perfect portion for me to eat. The mushrooms were seasoned perfectly and complemented the main course well. Careful with the drinks as they were stronger than I anticipated. Parking can be a bit tricky especially if it’s a busy night.
The menu was limited. The mashed potatoes were cold! The broccoli Raab was disgusting!! Our waiter admitted most people hate it!!! So, why is it on the menu???!!! The chimichurri sauce saved the lamb chops!!! It's over priced. I don't mind paying for food but when I do pay ???, I wanna be ???? AMAZED! It failed... I loved the ambiance!!!!
There restaurant no valet and the closest parking is 5 minutes away walking and costs $40. Most upscale restaurants provide valet services and even validate parking. No wonder the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. To add to this cold welcome, the food was mediocre and overpriced. Their Tuna poke had a pungent smell and the chips that came with it were stale. Our total bill was $274 for two people (not including parking and tip). Morton’s is a much better restaurant with better service and food. So sad to see a historic and reputable LA restaurant so run down. Ripoff, avoid.
Absolutely one of the best steaks ever. Service was slow but that's the way it is everywhere. Was not impressed by the mushrooms or the Brussel Sprout, lobster was not tender. Somewhat tough, shrimp cocktail and deserts were good
The experience at The Palm ? Restaurant was just amazing! Since I walked in with the friend I had dinner with, I knew I would like it. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Jordan. He was great! The food was absolutely exquisite, starting from the side shares through the main meal, not to mention my choice of Malbec wine, desert, coffee. The service from their team, and ambiance was excellent!
Great food Been there for Lunar New Year eve dinner Attached updated menu and kids food
