The Palm - Palm West

As a repeat customer our dining experience was a bit of a letdown. Disclaimer (review based on high end steak house expectations). Would definitely recommend the thick cut bacon as an appetizer. New York strip was perfectly cooked and large just lacking flavor so get some of the available add on garnishes. The salmon was great and perfectly cooked as well. Au gratin potatoes were pretty goo but not special. Server was polite and attentive just difficult to understand with language barrier, and masks didn’t help the matter.

Very very good. Classy steakhouse. Great staff. Amazing caricatures on the walls everywhere. Est in 1926. They have a lot of history. It was across the street from the Gershwin theater. Great meal ticket with Wicked. The bar was packed. Steak was perfect. Salmon was perfect. Cheesecake was wonderful. I recommend!

I was very impressed with dinner last night. We had a private room for 12 people and exceptional service. Dinner was compromised of all the NYC Steak house classics. Location is perfect for a trip into the city via Train.

Started off bad. Restaurant was empty, but was seated at a small booth with a seat that was duct taped back together. Then we noticed our water glasses had black stains on bottom and near rim and had to swap them out. Nice variety of breads. The food was good, but too salty overall. We came around a shift change which did not help with the service. No one came around to clear the table and we constantly needed to wait awhile for the next course and had to stop the bus person to get takeout container and the check.

One of our favorite steakhouses in NYC, the Palm West is a great place to go before or after a show. The Palm also has a great pre-fixe lunch menu, the atmosphere and service has also been outstanding and I have been here many times. The group of bartenders on staff are excellent! Highly recommend this Palm location.

Very nice ambiance & I enjoyed walking around seeing famous faces on the wall. Our filets we're cooked to perfect temp & melted in your mouth. Our waitress was #1 and all the staff ? We would definitely go back when we visit NYC.

Had dinner here one night before moulin rouge the musical. The table setting and dining room was elegant. Truly a great place to catch a meal just before a show.

Evening call to reserve a table for 2. Readily accommodated- White linen service. Both ordered ribeye and pleased that they were both prepared as ordered. Calamari order was huge, lobster bisque delicious, also ordered salad & wine. The only disappointment of the evening was a request for a baked potato (not on the menu). This was not very good and after sharing that news with staff, they agree to adjust our check. Topped the evening off with coffees and cheesecake. Atmosphere a bit noisy however, our waiter was attentive. Good Experience.
