First time visiting this establishment. Nice layout and the air conditioner felt amazing. The food was good, and reasonably priced. My date enjoyed her food too. Service was slow though.

This place is awesome! I was home for a visit & my girlfriends suggested we go here for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised & happy with the experience & food. Live music, drinks were on point & they have this shrimp sauce that is to die for! ? Will definitely go back!

The ambiance was nice. It is a decent size, however, it was very crowded and tight. We were seated maybe 2 feet from other diners, having people on both sides. I was very disappointed there. The service was also slow. We were seated on time for our reservation which was a huge plus. The staff was very nice. They could have been short staffed as our server had several tables. She also seemed a bit inexperienced so we definitely did our best to be patient. The food was good. The lobster bisque was fantastic. The calamari was also good. My family enjoyed the wings, and said they were very good. I ordered the lamb chops entree. Presentation was awesome. I ordered medium temp and received well done. My mom's steak was ordered medium well and received well and dry. It was her birthday so we insisted she send it back to not ruin her experience. I kept mine but did let them know they were not cooked as ordered and dry. The flavor was good and I would've easily enjoyed had they been cooked properly. The band was very entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We'll be back however, I'll likely visit on a Thursday vs Saturday.

Absolutely love, loved, loooved this place. Nice and quaint, like a modern chill lounge. Staff was exceptional from the moment I walked in to the time I left. The vibe is nice, the people there were so friendly. Everyone enjoyed each other despite being strangers. That's how friendly and welcoming the place is. Clean establishment, my waitress was phenomenal. Food was great. Overall, good food, folks and fun. Will definitely be back. A huge Thank you to Maurice who greeted us, made sure we were good during our visit and made sure we got to our vehicles safely. Definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Hidden Gem! Great music, vibes and food. The bartenders Shauna and Marvin are incredible. It’s an older crowd, and people are very nice. I love that their is a live DJ, with a versatile music selection for everyone!! This will continue to be my go-to bar. It’s in a safe location with decent parking.

Amazing spot on the South Side of Chicago. Owners & staff are always on par & friendly, food was good and having a live DJ is always a plus. Outside patio for those looking to get fresh air. Really nice place! * I updated this review b/c my first visit I mistakenly thought the appetizer menu was all they had. But my 2nd visit I was shown the full menu, and I stand corrected - great menu options to select from! Sorry!!

This is the absolute best place on the south side to have a great meal with live entertainment. I went on a Saturday night due to the tornado watch the patio was closed. I was able to get a nice table inside near the pianist. The hostess was super sweet and welcoming. The waitress Yolanda was a blast. The manager and one of the owners all came to just say hello and make sure we had a great experience. All the food is delicious. It’s cooked perfect and has flavor. When scanning the menu on the phone make sure you have the waitress show you how to get the full menu. I will definitely be back .

Yesterday my husband and I tried calling to make reservation for Valentines Day, on the Website is shows that they were opened. After serval attempts I left a voice message with call back number. We thought they were too busy to answer so attempted to do a walk in. However, the place was closed, we were so disappointed. I received a call today explaining what happened and the lady on the phone said they are closed on Tuesday. As I was talking, I informed her once again the the Website has them opened on Tuesday. I ask could we get a complimentary meal she was not trying to accommodate. I even ask for a discount on our next visit she still kept saying thanks for letting her know. As a customer at any established it would have made all the difference for the inconvenience. Based on poor customer service, I will take my business somewhere else. Tried to support Black Owned. I will go back to Tavern on Rush. Where we are always treated well.
