Rustic eatery-bar with an open kitchen. Hip & comfy American restaurant with steaks, pizza, burgers & other comfort foods plus full bar.
We arrived during Happy Hour. Our waiter, Chris, greeted us at the door. Provided us with a fabulous and attentive experience. We ordered drinks from the Happy Hour menu. My Cosmopolitan was made exactly how I like it. We each chose a pizza. I have to say this is the best Pizza we have had in awhile. The crust is hand tossed and is thin yet has the flavor of a pan crust. The sauce is the perfect amount to compliment but not override the crust and toppings. It was so good that we raved about it on the drive home. We even talked about what we will choose the next time we go. We can’t say enough for our waiter. Just very good time and we enjoyed ourselves. We took our leftovers and we rarely do that when we are an hour from home.
I had the black bean veggie burger with the Cajun seasoned sweet potato fries and a strawberry lemonade. The veggie burger was great. It was big, flavorful and had lots of great ingredients including avocado slices, tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle, mayonnaise, etc. The bun was big enough to accommodate all the ingredients without any falling out while I ate it. The Cajun sweet potato fries were good but were a little too salty for my taste. I think they would be better with slightly less seasoning. Still good though. The strawberry lemonade was great. The atmosphere was good, we got a nice quiet, private booth to sit in. The service was good. All are orders came out correct and were served in a timely manner despite the restaurant being quite busy. Parking was easy. There is a parking lot next to the restaurant with plenty of spaces.
We had been trying to dine here for a while and finally got the chance, we were not disappointed! Delicious drinks from the bar, and everything we ate was delicious! Spinach Artichoke dip for an appetizer, my love enjoyed the bbq ribs over a bed of fries..I enjoyed the Chicken Picatta absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the brownie surprise, I forget the name of it, but it was delicious! Our server was very nice and made sure our glasses were never empty! We hope to dine again before we leave Bend in the upcoming months
The Phoenix saved our Mother’s Day dinner! When our dinner plans at another restaurant fell through we thought surely no one else would be able to get us in for dinner. I called, they happened to have a cancellation and were able to get our table of 6 people in. The service was phenomenal. I believe our server was named Loretta and she was a total rockstar. The appetizers and entrees were amazing as well as their delicious desserts. I cannot express my gratitude for their kindness and ability to get us a table in a pinch. You guys are the best!
Loved it. The service was great and the staff was so friendly. I ordered the Phoenix Hamburger without a bun and it was perfectly cooked. The fries were super crispy and probably the best part of the meal. Would definitely visit again and have something else.
Place was busy!! Host did a great job managing the customers. Our server was burnt out and this service wasn’t too exciting. Food was good. Beer cold so guess we did OK considering we are in Bend - noticed several restaurants either closed on Monday and Tuesday or open limited hours- being told it’s due to total lack of employees! Wow.
Sat at the bar during happy hour. Good selection of taps and great deals on food. The sweet potato fries and pesto pizza were awesome! Will come back next time I'm in the area.
It couldn’t be better! Everything we eat there has always been amazing. Jeff is phenomenal and attentive. If they have a fish special, just order it! My husband got it and it was great! Halibut with Chilean crab meat, béarnaise sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Wow! Thank you!
