Elevated Italian kitchen for classics. Hip eatery for elevated Italian classics & wine served in rustic-chic surrounds.
What a fantastic restaurant!! I loved the decor and the entire atmosphere. The entire place was clean, the staff was very friendly. The food came out relatively quick and was hot and fresh. I got the spicy vodka sauce with risotto and the lamb meatballs. I am definitely looking forward to coming back to try some other items off of their menu including pizza and salad. They have a huge wine list and a bar if you want an adult beverage. They also have a very nice out patio area with misters to keep you cool. Highly recommend!!
We had the best table in the house! It was a long red high top table great for a big family outing. The servers were helpful and respectful, the food was very good and the ambience was comfortable and engaging. Octopus appetizer was good, good size too. The steak meatballs and risotto was delicious and I got the spicy red sauce to go on top. You may want to ask for a little extra sauce on the side for more dipping! Menu isn’t extensive but it does the job. I heard the gnocchi and polenta was also very good as a “bottom.” Would like to try more meatballs!
We went to dinner with another couple, they picked an amazing place to dine! When we arrived they were already on a waiting list and were seated quickly. I had a very down to earth server, who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I mentioned that I wanted a chicken parmesian, and it wasn't on the menu... not a problem, the chef made me one! I love the creativity with the different kinds of meatballs and the wide variety on the menu. I noticed that The Sicilian Butcher is not a cheap place to eat, but neither is the quality of the food. My advice to you is to reserve a table in advance and try a great meal and evening out!
No words to portray what an outright find this was for supper. The food is terrific! What's more, the help is next level! With every one of the spots to eat in Arizona we decided to return two times on our weeks visit it was that great ! Our server Toni was unbelievable and Rosina is the high energy we want in this world ! Both caused eating here to feel like family ! Much thanks to you both for making our night so significant and flavorful. We will be back over and over!
No words to describe what an absolute find this was for dinner. The food is spectacular! And the service is next level! Both made dining here feel like family ! Thank you both for making our night so memorable and delicious. We will be back again and again!
Had a blast at this cute, upscale, and delightful restaurant! We did restaurant week here and had the best time. The food had many different flavor profiles that complemented each dish wonderfully. We started off with the charred octopus (char came through at this the right “burnt” flavor and the octopus was quite tender and easy to chew!), salad (veggies were fresh and bursting with flavor), meatballs and pasta (this was my most favorite! It was very authentic tasting and I loved the unique shape of the pasta) and ended it with tiramisu and a cannoli (both of these are to die for! Not too sweet but you can taste every flavor). We also had the white sangria which was so good - not too sweet but the citrus was very refreshing on a hot Arizona day. We will definitely be back to take a crack at the original menu! Highly recommend for comfort Italian food for a family/friend catch up, casual date, or a solo date with yourself!
Great place. Went with a friend for dinner and was not disappointed. Food was very well prepared, the presentation was atheisticly pleasing, and the atmosphere is well established. Our waitress was attentive with our table and positive. Highly recommend and planning on revisiting again.
My parents loved this place. Great service and good food. There’s definitely something for everyone, and if you’re in town with family this is a safe choice. Our server was EXCELLENT. I ordered the sausage meatballs with spicy vodka sauce, my mom and dad absolutely ADORED everything on the menu. My dad ordered a meatball the size of a massive grapefruit. Sicilian Butcher is a safe restaurant choice with mass appeal. Is it super authentic? Maybe not. My pasta was good, but not great. It was lacking a certain specificity I’ve come to enjoy. Pro tip: order dessert. Their pastries are EXCELLENT. I ordered a Negroni, which was also good but room temperature. I got the vibe they didn’t stir their cocktails in ice when mixing and I had to wait a bit for the ice to chill my drink. My critiques are nitpicks. If you’re not a fancy champagne taste pinkies up kinda guy, you may love this spot.
