Classic Mexican eats in simple surrounds. Traditional Mexican fare includes made-to-order tortillas & guacamole in casual indoor/outdoor digs.
Some of the best tacos that I had in the downtown area. Al pastor was delicious but Cameron (spicy shrimp) was average. They have a small seating area and it gets pretty crowded. I’d have given 4 stars but the cleanliness in the dine-in area could really be improved. There was no one to clean up after each party leaves the table, which led to us cleaning the table ourselves.
Tried the one in La Jolla and loved it. The quality of food is pretty consistent between both places. I had a shrimp taco and a grind chicken taco. Both were delicious!! The line to order food moved pretty fast. The wait for the food though... it took quite some time. Very limited seats for dine-in. You're better off getting your food to go.
The best Mexican food I ever tasted in the USA. I lived in NYC, but I could not find any Mexican restaurants that are better than this one. I order a some tacos and one burritos. I like the shrimp, it tasted delicious with the green sauce. I actually revisited the place the next day because I am so into it. You need to wait for 10-15 minutes if it is during peak hours.
This place is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! I'm from Texas and thought we had the best tacos but clearly, I was wrong! I visit this place every time I visit San Diego. AND their prices are hard to beat!!! I highly recommend giving them a try. I had the Al Pastor tacos and wish I had brought some home with me. Yum yum yum!!!! ?
Loved the tacos here! My husband and I got an assortment to try, as well as the elote. Everything was delicious, but the elote was honestly my favorite. I also really liked the self-serve salsa bar, which included pickled onions, carrots, etc. I look forward to coming back here the next time I’m in SD!
Best tacos we had in San Diego. Al pastor is really juicy and yummy! They make the tortilla and all the meats right in front of you. Nice experience! Also they have all kinds of salsas
I recently had the pleasure of trying a vegetarian California burrito, and it was absolutely delicious! The exterior was crispy and golden brown, and the interior was warm and flavorful. I also really appreciated the portion size of this burrito. It was filling but not overly heavy, making it the perfect dinner meal. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my vegetarian California burrito and would definitely order it again in the future.
Some really good tacos. Yes you can find cheaper in San Diego but 3 tacos filled me up for less then $14, affordable. The fish and shrimp tacos were crazy good, make sure you get some salsas to try out!
