Modern restaurant for Asian fusion fare. Cocktails & Asian fusion eats are offered in this industrial-chic eatery with an atrium & a patio.
One of the most fun and delicious dinner experiences we've had in a while. Delicious Southeast Asian food, beautifully prepared. Excellent drinks. The vibe was great, with music playing and conversations buzzing all around you, but not do loud that you can't hear your dinner companion. The service was attentive and thoughtful. A highly recommend and we'll definitely be coming back. Must try: Singaporean Crab Fried Rice, Glazed Ribs and the cocktail Light of Knowledge.
Incredible Asian fusion. Amazing ambiance. Absolute vibe in the heart of Chinatown. Went for Lunar New Year. Food and drinks were both excellent. Also got to see a Chinese dragon dance show during our meal as part of the festivities. 10/10 performance and really enhanced the meal. But even without the special performance, Tyger was a big time winner. Personal favorites were the short rib, octopus, and beef skewer. But every dish was delicious!!
Love the fried rice here; I mean I’m obsessed. It’s so flavorful and spicy. Beef stew is very tender, juicy. Fried pork is crunchy, dipping goes so well. Drinks are … interestingly good. Definitely worth a visit!
3.5 stars. We ordered the lamb ribs, the duck breast, the fried chicken, the fish (forget its name) , the Singapore fried rice and the coconut bomb. Food is good. The fish is surprisingly in very small portion and expensive. It tasted…well, just okay. We were three people and were still hungry after finishing all the meat and dessert, so we additionally ordered the Singapore fried rice. Very tasty! Should have ordered earlier so it can go with the meat. Can’t find our waitress in the later half of the dinner. They will hint you to leave by constantly asking if they can take the unfinished dish away and cleaning (wiping) the table while we were still talking. But we were there for just ONE hour and 10 minutes and there were still several unoccupied tables! So we had no choice but to leave early and find another place. Vibe is nice but maybe too loud. Well it’s hard in nyc to find a quiet restaurant though.
This place is a phenomenal Asian restaurant! ? The Tyger ? has a wonderful selection of delicious ? dishes ?️ served family-style. The Fried Chicken ? small plates is great, and the Pad See Ew Noodles with Broccoli ? and Fried Tofu is great! The absolute gem ? here is their Coconut ? desserts - it's a total must-have! Staff ?? is super professional, welcoming, and friendly (thanks Eric!), The ambience ? is fantastic, and the interior design is beautiful! I wish I knew about this place earlier!
Everything was excellent that we had last night. The Tyger slushee machine tho was broken so that sucks so we had the nightingale and it was delicious a little on the sweet side. For food we had the octopus salad that was spicy but divine, the spinach which was buttery and delicious and last the hanger steak which was cooked perfectly. Honestly this place is wonderful and so aesthetically pleasing on the inside is happily come back.
Really enjoyed dining there! Incredibly pretty outdoor seating as well as the interior. Their food is so flavorful, creative yet authentic. if you like heavy flavor, I will totally recommend. The dessert is also super unique:)
Loved the food and experience overall. They even gave us free champagne for being fun customers. The only thing we did not enjoy were the desserts (banana split and coconut cream). See the receipt photo for dishes we ordered
