Sleek restaurant with classic Thai fare. Family-owned restaurant dishing out Thai standards in a contemporary space with a full bar.
Cozy place with interesting appetizers and entrees. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and really enjoyed everything! They weren't super busy for a Monday evening and we were well taken care of by the staff. They have unique flavors and combinations for Their dishes, it made us want to come back to try other things! The dragon eggs were delicious I wanted to take a container of that sauce home it was so good! It's located in phoenix They have plenty of parking in the back. Definitely a good place to hit up!
So me and my friend went here 7/28 around 3:30 and there was plenty of parking available, the food was delicious, and the service was also quite good. Both the portions, and the presentations were good. The flavor, and the freshness was there, and the drinks!! Let me tell you, their cocktail selection was surprising and superb. The drinks were rich in flavor, presentation and strong(-in a good way), and affordable. We were just overall impressed with this place. Me and my friend decided we may be back. So, if you're looking for a place to have lunch before going back to work, or dinner or even looking for a place to celebrate an event this might be the place you want to try.
My husband brought me here for the first time, he said the food is so great and I am impressed. The only thing that ia missing in the food that I really expected is that the spicy. It's not spicy at all, we asked for the fish sauce with lot of chili and that save the food. I still recommended this place ??.
I enjoyed my food as well as the atmosphere. It's a small place but the service was quick and ambience was great. The Chicken Satay was amazing. I also recommend the Mi Dung. The veggie rolls were ok so next time I will pass on those. I would love to come here again to try some of their other menu items.
I come here from time to time because I am picky about the drinks they serve. They have a wide selection of drinks but regular brewed iced tea. They have flavored tea which I am not fond of and that is tie breaker for me. I don't like ordering soda but here I have too. Their soups, appetizers, and salads are pretty good. If you like ribs this is the place to try it. Their serving portions is on the small side. I ordered the pad Thai and there wasn't enough noodles in the dish. It was disappointing for me. I'm used to heaping amount of noodles for the pad Thai in other places. I remembered why I don't come here often. The atmosphere is trendy with art on the walls. Didn't hear any music playing. We did have a nice server and with a smile. It takes them awhile to come back to the table. So be ready to order when they ask you for your drink orders.
Perfectly cooked food. Service was great and quick. I tried dragon eggs (both crispy and steamed) for the first time based on the reviews from google. It did not disappoint me. We ordered dragon eggs, Tom Ka Gai soup, Red curry, and Thai sweet tea (for two people). Nothing went wrong. The soups were served in one of a kind of Fire pots, which not only kept the soup piping hot, but made it look incredibly impressive.
My brother picked this restaurant and we were so glad he did. Super fresh, super yummy, lots of food. I love that everything was light and full of flavor. Definitely a place to return again and again. We ordered appetizers- Dragon eggs(half steamed/half fried) and fresh rolls(veggie spring rolls w peanut sauce). Super yummy. We also ordered Seafood crab puffs and Tom Kah Gai soup(comes bubbling and flaming) Pad Thai(no pic). Yum yum yum
We were driving around downtown Phoenix looking for a downtown spot to eat. We stopped at a restaurant but then remembered we had looked up Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives featured restaurants. So we quickly changed our plan and headed to the Wild Thaiger. In our week long trip, this was the BEST food experience we had around Arizona. Here’s why: we ordered the dragon eggs, which were featured on the show. They were even better than we expected. We got half and half steamed and crispy, and ate every one of them. We also ordered a veggie egg roll and the spring rolls, which were fresh and amazing. Since we came there because of the show, we were going to order Guy Fieri’s picks, but we noticed they called their soups Hot Pots, so we decided to order those before ordering Guy Fieri’s picks. The climax of the meal was when they served our hot pots, which arrived in authentic, Thai style volcano bowls, that were warmed by flame. The broths, vegetables, and meats were everything you could’ve imagined and more. We ordered the coconut broth with tofu and veggies and the super soup. Both had different style broths and were equally amazing. The coconut one has the extra punch of flavor. We ate our entire hot pots and didn’t order anything else since we were so stuffed! They also had authentic Asian beer choices, which was cool. We spoke with the waitress about DDD and she gave us a lot of good information about the restaurant, the show, and the surrounding area. The service was incredible, excellent, A+! If you haven’t been to Wild Thaiger in downtown Phoenix, then you don’t know what Thai food is!
