Will never go back. I’ve lived in town for a few years now and never have eaten here- now I know why. Crispy chicken basket. $18. FOR TYSON CHICKEN TENDERS. I was absolutely shocked. Picture shows how small they are (finger for reference)- they have the texture of frozen tenders & you can taste it. Says it comes with coleslaw- had to ask for it & the bartender CHECKED the menu to make sure I wasn’t lying. It was absolutely DISGUSTING anyways. Like plain cabbage. NEVER given silverware, napkins and the bartender almost forgot to put our order in. Go to Brady’s or U&I for better bar food.
I got the chicken tender basket the fries where delicious the tenders where disappointing think they where frozen also a little burnt for $18 i wouldnt recommend, calamari wasn't terrible also wasnt great probably won't be back for food but it would be a fun place to drink on a busy night.
We were there on Sunday, October 10 and wanted to try it out, we hadn't been there since it was State Street Grille. The new owners did a great job with the interior, it is brighter and cleaner. The place was busy but we found a table (no host/seat yourself) and our server was awesome. She and one other server were working the entire place, they were hustling! Fish tacos were excellent, Ketel One Bloody Mary was really good. We will definitely be back, this place is great for watching football or any sports. Plenty of TV's and good mix of locals that are very friendly.
Unfortunately they never can keep good servers/staff. The food has been disappointing and will eat not here anymore. I enjoy the trivia on Tuesday nights as the host is amazing. Unfortunately if you win at trivia you cannot use the “gift card” to pay for anything but food. Don’t blame the Michigan Liquor Control as I know how that works. It’s your rules and systems that are not allowing it. Every other establishment in this town can figure out how to use gift cards. Without trivia on Tuesdays I’m pretty sure your sales would be slow. Take care of your regulars and the people that help make your winters better. You’ll see a better ROI.
Love the atmosphere and love the sports theme. Was surprised for a Monday night it wasn’t busier. We ordered the shrimp and calamari. And was planning on getting dinner. Shrimp was great. Calamari was over cooked and had no seasoning to them. They tasted like flowery rubber bands. The bartender took them off or bill. Needless to say we didn’t stay for dinner. Will probably be back but not for food.
Food and service were great. Good fried fish, GREAT fries.
Terrible..will never go back..served 5 day old coleslaw..rancid..never offered another item to replace it nor made any adjustment on bill, never even apologized. Fish was undercooked..not happy at all with food or lack of response by waitress ...no one else even approached us.
My wife and I came here for dinner and we had a great experience. Quiet night so we were able to get seated right away outside. We ordered calamari for a starter and we both ordered the seafood mac for our entrees. Both were great. Also, our waitress, Christina was very friendly and also helped make our dining experience enjoyable.
