Used to to regularly but found the quality was decreasing and felt it wasn’t worth the cost to go here or even recommend it anymore. When their vegan burger first came out it was delicious and great but as time went on the quality in ingredients decreased such as switching buns and having a smaller burger/toppings on it. Our last time in our waiter was bumping into tables and asked us multiple times if he took our order already. Before that time we went in and the waiter asked if we wanted to try veggies with the hummus and I asked what veggies came with it and he said it varies but celery and carrots probably. We decided to give it a try and were given lettuce, chopped tomatoes and unpeeled carrots. Hummus and lettuce?? It seems like this was just an opportunity to up charge for the veggies that shouldn’t have been there. We didn’t even eat the carrots and couldn’t believe they were peeled. Outside of that sometimes the potatoes would come cold and other times warm and similar with the noodle dish. Sometimes it came cold and other times warm. We literally had no idea how they were supposed to come it was so inconsistent. Obviously some things were really good especially fall seasonal items but as the quality decreased along with service with prices being so high it wasn’t something I wanted to return back to.

Great gluten free dairy free options! Went there twice in a row!! Had the gluten free dairy free pizza, SO GOOD! Also the soups are great! Hummus was a bit off, way too much garlic but it was okay overall. Had it with gluten free “pita” which I believe was the same crust of the pizza. Overall great experience. Loved the service I would recommend! #LKTG

Stopped by for a healthy meal while visiting Chicago. The restaurant was about 75% full, but there were plenty of seats at the bar. Lady working the bar (evening of May 17th) was extremely friendly, helpful, and engaging. She had outstanding customer service skills. She quickly came for the drink and appetizer order while offering some suggestions too. Started off with the Kale Aid and soup, both arrived within 5 minutes. For the meal, ordered the Ancient Grain Bowl. It was paced out perfectly after the appetizer and arrived in about 15 minutes. Wow, food was amazing. Even if you're not looking for healthy food, the food tasted great. The soup was rich, hearty, and flavorful. The bowl had so many complex tastes and different textures that went well together. Each bite give you a different taste. Ingredients sounded so simple, but the overall taste was unsuspecting. It will be hard not to order this again. Great food and service. Even if you're not looking for a healthy restaurant, I'd recommend coming here. I will definitely come back and try some of the other menu items.

Came here for a casual business lunch. I like the atmosphere of this place: casual but not too noisy. The interior is very bright, green and clean. The menu offers wide variety of options. You can go from very healthy vegan option to very hearty dish. Since it was a business lunch, we didn’t have any alcohol. I ordered a poke bowl which was very delicious. The quantity is not super large but I’m ok with that. If you came in hungry, perhaps consider an appetizer. The service was tentative but there were some mistakes: 1) vegan dish one of my colleagues ordered somehow had chicken bits in it; 2) waitress took the wrong order for another colleague (we were a group of 10 so maybe that is why).

Enjoyed a lovely work-lunch this afternoon. My co-worker and I shared the charred cauliflower (amazing!) and then I had the earth bowl with grilled chicken - for a beverage I had the raspberry lemon tea - everything was lovely, fresh and delicately presented. I highly recommend. I would definitely go back!

I only have one word for this restaurant. It’s AMAZING. The food tasted really Healthy fresh and tasty. The Korean Noodle bowl was on a spicy side. Drinks were decent. Food is pricey. The waiter got us a free dessert for my friend’s birthday. It was a nice gesture. Lastly, We had dogs with us and had called few restaurants which were pet friendly but none of them allowed the dogs and the patios were closed because of the Winter. But True Food Kitchen was so kind to seat us outside. Must try place.

Enjoyed wonderful freshly prepared food! We had cod, Margarita Pizza, Korean glass noodle bowl and Kale Cob salad. Everything was delicious and you feel good, not heavy, after eating it.

I visited a Wednesday around 6pm. The restaurant was almost empty, thus got rapidly assigned to the bar and was able to quickly order and receive my food. The poke bowl was delicious. Lots of staff, lots of space. The portion was okay but I wasn't super hungry. I can see that it might be problematic in other circumstances.
