Tuesday Tips and Ideas for a Productive Week

What a beautiful Tuesday morning, friends. It’s been a while since I shared a lifestyle update, and today feels like the perfect day to catch up. I have several things on my mind that I’d love to share with you. Here we go:

1. I just signed up at the gym. I really need exercise in my life right now. Some of you have asked if I’m pregnant — I’m not. My tummy has been getting rounder and I’m noticing back folds forming, which isn’t how I want to feel. So, gym membership: check. I’m also considering doing a month of clean-eating recipes on the blog. That will likely happen in March after I post Valentine’s Day recipes and other dishes in February. Still thinking it through, though.

2. We are house hunting, and I’m especially focused on finding the perfect kitchen. Truthfully, when I imagine our new home, what I keep picturing is a large, bright kitchen with plenty of counter space and room to film my YouTube videos. I’m excited and hopeful about what we’ll find.

3. This morning I read a devotional about Valentine’s Day gifts that can’t be purchased, and it really resonated with me. It’s easy to think a meaningful gift has to cost a lot, but some of the most valuable gifts are intangible — forgiveness, heartfelt messages, and acts of service often mean more than anything money can buy.

4. I keep returning to this verse: “It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.” (Psalm 127:2). I may have shared this before, but it bears repeating. I often assume anxious hustle is the only path to reach my goals. Lately, God has been teaching me to slow down, embrace the quiet moments, and follow a different pace — one that brings rest and clarity.

5. Please pray for Cameroon. My country is experiencing a difficult period of instability right now. I trust that God is ultimately in control, and I believe this season will end according to His will. In the meantime, prayer is a powerful and needed response.

6. Did I tell you how much I love you? I truly cherish connecting with you here and sharing my heart. Thank you for being my sweet online friends.

Have a wonderful Tuesday. I’ll see you tomorrow in my kitchen!
