UnderTow Arcadia

So much fun! One of my coworkers showed me this place. Reservations are probably a good idea as it was quite busy. So many fun cocktails. Definitely takes some time to read through their creative drinks menu (stories included!) As you enjoy your drink watch the boats pass by through the porthole. Truly a fun place!

This place was awesome! A wide variety of cocktail selections that are all picturesque. Our server Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place is visually amazing and nice atmosphere to just catch some drinks with a date or some friends. If you make a reservation there is an immediate charge per person but they do credit that to the bill so I had no issues with that. Shares the same building with Platform 18 at Century and The Grey Hen Rx at Century Grand so you can hit all 3 in the same outing if you'd like and they all look very cool. Check it out

I love this place. I've been here numerous times and it truly never disappoints. The atmosphere and ambiance is spot-on. The best part is seeing the bartenders have fun on the job. Just smiles all around while crafting exquisite drinks with every different flavor profile you could imagine. Out of the 48 drinks they have on the menu, there is something for everyone. This is absololutley my favorite place in the valley for a drink/date night.

This place is cool! Walking in takes you to a completely new place and the small space feels like a secret. The drinks are all interesting, though I wish they were described better. I do miss the menus with stories and we had a bit of lag time ordering drinks. What an experience!

I have been wanting to try this spot for a long time and finally made it in! Honestly, I really liked it! Very cool concept. It is basically one large building with three smaller, separate bars that are independently themed…Platform 18, which is a old school train car theme, Grey Hen Rx, which is a stepping into an older New Orleans bar, and Undertow, a ship themed bar (think pirate ship). Undertow is quaint and very cool. Dim lighting. Small windows fashioned like the windows of an old ship that have a video playing as you “look out.” All wood interior with other cool simulations like light smoke, lightning from a storm, etc. The bar tenders were awesome, super friendly and helpful with drink selections. The cocktail options are numerous so you will not have a problem finding one that suits you. The drinks were excellently made and were so good! Definitely give this a try. I can’t wait to go back and try the other two!

Amazing atmosphere. Everybody in our group loved their drink!! Our server picked both my drinks based on my taste preference. Definitely recommend looking over the menu before arriving due to the time limit on the table. As long as you go into Undertow knowing that you have a 90 minute table limit and the space is small, you should be good!

A truly excellent bar. The cocktails are fantastic and there's an impressive variety of flavors within the tiki theme. The ambiance is very cool and unique (especially the portholes). I only wish the reservation time slots were a little bit longer, but otherwise a really great experience and I can't wait to go again.

One of the most unique places in the valley and by far my favorite place to enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere pulls you in the moment you step aboard. Each drink is a perfect blend of exotic flavors and delicate artwork. It's a great 90 minute escape from reality!
