Food and ambiance was excellent. I also appreciated the effort in moving me up half an hour to a better time slot when we arrived early. I did mention to the front of house the dinner was for my partner whose birthday it was but I think the staff forgot. We also had an issue where we got charged 3 random drinks to our bill, but was rectified when we pointed it out

The service process is faulty and the price of the food was unclear. When we ask for placed an order of LOBSTER OMELETTE with the waitress, she asked if we wanted to add white truffles, and we agreed. By the time they gave us our food, the white truffles were already on the omelette and each piece of white truffles looks incomplete and small. In our past experiences at other restaurants, the chef would present the food at the table and then shave the truffles in front of the guests. But they gave us the shaved truffles directly with the omelette. How can we see the quality of white truffles? When we got the bill, it had 2 grams of white truffles for $85. My friend and I realized that the waitress didn't even ask us how many grams of white truffles we wanted or tell us the minimum amount of white truffles to order based on the number of guests. When she helped us place our order, she didn't even tell us that a gram of white truffles was $42.5 and that the price of white truffles didn't appear on the menu. Perhaps we should have asked these questions at the beginning as well. Therefore, I think the service process is faulty and the price of the white truffles is unreasonable. Another thing was that we waited over 20min to place our dessert order after finishing our entrees, with each server passing us by quickly and rarely even coming over to check us. After we were able to place our order, we waited for about 15min to get our dessert. Just the whole process from waiting to order the dessert to finish the dessert took us almost 50 min. Since my friend and I had other plans after dinner and were in a hurry, we did not ask the waiter about these issues, but I also did not get a response when I sent an email to ask about the price of the white truffles. I hope the restaurant can give me an answer as soon as possible and improve these problems.

Super sexy scene with spot-on service! It’s a bit Old New York with artsy/hipster vibes. Soaring ceilings with ambience setting lighting. The staff were in crisp uniforms juxtaposed with the creatively modern dress of the hosts. The food presentation and preparation was equally creative and modern but not so much that they serve you a “tasting” portion like in many gastronomic establishments. They balanced the portions quite elegantly. Not too much. Not too little. Get the caviar and martini app! The serve a small bump of caviar on a melon ball sized potato nestled in between their version of crème fraiche. Paired with a crisp dry martini. Oh. My. God. All the servers were attentive and engaging and boy were there a lot of them. It was a generous ratio of servers to patrons and the place was bustling. If you need some place upscale yet cozy and it needs to impress, this is your spot. I will be a regular here. If you found this review helpful, like the post or follow me.

Wonderful Dinner at Verõnika ! From the Oysters to the dessert, it was pure deliciousness ! What a Beautiful experience ! The restaurant is located inside of the Fotografiska museum (that I actually also recommend visiting) - Renaissance Revival building. You go up stairs and you arrive at another reception, check your coat and enter a beautiful lounge with a bar, a gorgeous mural and beautiful Eastern European styles furnitures . I felt like I was traveling in time. Then, we entered another room which is the restaurant (you can also go to Veronika or a drink in the first room)and were offered to seat. Walls are decorated with Artworks, some from David La Chapelle (see photos). Chandeliers are spectacular ! We started our dinner with a selection of 6 oysters, were added « crudités and mayonnaise » then ordered a Salt Crusted Porterhouse (we had some left over / it could be shared by 3 people) : 40 oz Dry aged beef with 2 sides dishes : the « frites » and « Mushrooms » that I absolutely loved ! For dessert, we had the Verõnika Mille feuille under its Raspberry blanket : So good ! It’s on a higher budget range but I think it is perfect for a special event.

The restaurant ambiance is very nice and service was very good as well. However, a lot of the food was just not up to par / tasty. I had the caviar reserve martini but it was very harsh and did not taste like a reserve vodka. We started with apps that were good, but the scallop I had was sandy. The fried oyster was a bit too doughy, the tuna tartar was decent. The lobster omelette was good, but not what I expected as the lobster chunks were large. The egg texture was good but the sauce a lacking in flavor. The wagyu was also not as tender as I would’ve liked and was also lacking in flavor. The sides were ok, but I couldn’t really taste the truffle on the asparagus. The dessert was also a bit disappointing as the flambé creme caramel with saffron didn’t taste as creamy as I would’ve liked. The umami made it taste a bit off. The raspberry Mille feuille was also missing the layers that I was expecting. The best thing I had here was the potato with caviar that came with the martini. I probably could’ve eaten 10 of those for dinner. Maybe people don’t come here for the food but just for the ambiance. At these price points I would’ve expected better.

Exellent! Few places in New York give you a real 5 out of 5 stars experience, that takes care of all your senses. Veronika has an excellent atmosphere, food and service! Everything is great. Their team: kind and attempt; the food: beautiful and flavorful; drinks: well curated and excecuted; atmosphere: walls showcasing world class, eclectic photography, beautiful, warm, heavenly lighting, comfortable and elegant; the desserts ... they are exquisite, delicious and balanced. Kudos.

One of my favorite dining experiences in New York. The service was delightful, and the venue is absolutely stunning. I was impressed with the vegan dishes on the menu. Try the Pisco Sour with aquafaba!

Great food and an amazing scene! You definitely feel like you stumbled upon the hottest spot in NYC while dining there. Looking forward to going back and seeing the photo exhibits.
