We left another restaurant that had terrible service and came to Village Inn. We were seated immediately and given coffee and waters with the menus. We were served our food within ten minutes. Our waitress was wonderful: friendly and fast. The food was great too.

Had a waffle. What can you do to a waffle? Flavorless except for butter even the syrup wasn't very good. The server is excellent and worked here for years. Very good at her job but she can't make up for the food.

I was helped by Jacob he is the best server ever he is so sweet and attentive. For the first time ever I felt like I was in my house when it was a restaurant. His AMAZING BECAUSE OF HIM I will be coming more often.

Been here many times.
Definitely had plenty of good meals and pleasant experiences.
This recent visit was over-powered by a very odorous grease trap.
We decided to stick it out as many prior visits suggested it being worth the minor inconvenience of the odor.
I tried a new item, new to me, as the server confirmed it was very popular, Huevos Rancheros. It was lack luster, as my suspicions told me it likely would be. My fault for trying something different?
I think they should either ensure all their dishes can be made fresh or not offered.

The building smells like backed up sewage. The other patrons were nice and respectful. One waitress was unkind and short, and our waiter was very personable and likable. Food was ok and overall vibe was good.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this wonderful family restaurant! Truly the home of comfort food that is delicious and affordable. Best chicken fried steak anywhere!!! Please give it a try, you won't be sorry.
