I haven’t been to Wishbone in years due to an unforgettable bad experience. However new location, new people, and was told food is good. Went for brunch & glad I did. Deliciously cooked Shrimp and grits, Cajun omelette, home fries, biscuit with good coffee. Hector and Yvette's customer service added to a great experience. Thanks

Small restaurant with really good vibes especially for a nice brunch. The wait during weekends is pretty long but totally worth it. We had quite a few dishes and the stand out was the shrimp and grits. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They had pretty good mimosas too!

Great foods and service. The Cajun shrimp & cheese grits is amazing. I'm not a grits person but will order again. The jambalaya is good but will try the etouffee next time.

I was in town 2 days ago and ate at Wishbone. It was my second time here as I ran across this place last month while in town. What a gem! The food was fantastic both times? I had blackened trout, Collards, macaroni and cheese and red beans and rice! Everything was seasoned to perfection! My husband exclaimed over the French toast! Our server Nicole was very nice and attentive! One of our new favs while in town!!

The meals are delicious and a great size. There was an hour long wait but we went for Sunday brunch and they do not accept reservations. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly despite the business of the restaurant. I would go back again. I ordered the black bean cakes- they are strange, definitely not a brunch food but will be fine for lunch. My fiancé ordered chicken and waffles and Loved it! The maple honey butter was delicious. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. The restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food was so good and the customer service was amazing. It has a nice family vibe but since they serve alcohol it can turn into a brunch party later in the mornings. Wait time can be over the top so I’d recommend always going early.

The food was outstanding. The sweet mashed potatoes with crushed pecans is an absolute must. And our server Yousef was knowledgeable, fast, and courteous with a very friendly personality.

Went almost everyday during my trip to Chicago in October. Very friendly staff , good food, and in a good location in the loop. I tried the Cajun shrimp and grits, the catfish, regular breakfast platter with turkey bacon. The food is sooooo good ! 4 stars instead of 5 because of the mimosas. They all tasted fine but they don’t fill the glass up. I mentioned this to the staff and they said it’s the “Midwest” way but proceeded to fill the persons glass next to me all the way up . Would definitely go back and I have recommended this place to others
