World Famous

I would give 7 ⭐ if possible. Excellent from the moment you walk in! Our server was fantastic and I can't rave enough about the delicious food! Every bite was perfect! Highly recommend the Seafood Taco Sampler and the Crunchy Jumbo Shrimp. Cocktail and drink list has something for everyone.

My wife and I have been in Mission Beach the last few days. We have been up and down the boardwalk many times and have passed World Famous on numerous occasions. We walked up to get dinner one evening and were pleasantly surprised! The food was exceptional and far surpassed our expectations. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The wait was reasonable and our server, Maddi, was pleasant, friendly and conscientious. We will certainly be back. If you are in the San Diego area, be sure to check out World Famous

Went for a lunch and a dinner. Lunch menu was very slim with not much on it. Enjoyed their calamari "sticks". Very good with a decent portion size. Dinner tasted great as well. Had the harpoon combo. They were out of crab cakes so they gave me a rice cake (definitely not equal). Also only included 1 scallop. Yes, 1 scallop on the dish. Went all in with 2 shrimp though. The salmon was a nice portion. All tasted great, but portion size compared to price could get a little better.

Great service, food and location. Come here to get everything that you want and more. If there was a better place I don’t know about it! Maybe that’s not true… This is the only place that I’ve been to in San Diego for breakfast. I recommend getting the dude drink. I got the breakfast burrito. It is delicious as it is beautiful. Wonderful day but aren’t they always out here?

The location is perfect if you want a nice meal with a perfect view of the beach. Food was actually great except for the fact that I am not a fan of peppercorn and unfortu ately it over powered the taste of the clam chowder and also the batter of the fish. Calamari was perfect tho.

We had a outdoor group event for about 50 people. The start was a little rough as we were missing a table and it took a little time to get the first drink with only 2 servers (but that is what we paid for). Once things got rolling, it was EXCELLENT! The buffet food was really good, nice ambiance inside and out, and our server (Bee) was great. Love the experience and the location. VictorB

I have to come here for breakfast whenever I visit from Utah! This Is my favorite place to get a sea food omelet it's phenomenal every bite hits amazing! You know it's good when you have to mentally prepare for the Last bites! And the service is always amazing the servers are all sweet and amazing and Standing ovation for the chefs/cooks and staff in the kitchen ♡ amazing delicious comforting food! Nice welcoming atmosphere

I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We waited only a couple of minutes for a table with a great view of the boardwalk and the beach. The food was great, kids loved their food as well. Everything was seasoned well and tasted fresh. Great local beers on draft
